Best meal so far in Ogunquit. Many choices of shareable /small plates. Nice main course selections. Good wine list.

Overall I had a very pleasant and relaxing experience at Northern Union. I found the vibe to be a smidge too stuffy, but it was comfortable and inviting nonetheless. Amazing service, interesting and delicious food prepared with real care and intelligence. Portions are on the smaller side, and prices are slightly inflated for my taste. Definitely worth a visit if you want a premium dining experience in a sophisticated atmosphere.

We ended up here after searching for a nicer place to eat than the average. We were not disappointed. The service was impeccable, Colleen was friendly and attentive, while letting us enjoy the evening without unnecessary interruption. Her counsel on wine pairings was beyond reproach. The food was inventive and delicious. The ambiance is delightful, the decor is nice.

Home with a Twist
What a gem in Ogunquit! The atmosphere is chic and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming and our server Melissa very helpful with wine recommendations. Our food was superior. Don’t expect huge portions. Their concept is small, beautifully plated food where you eat just enough to feel satisfied. Be sure to order dessert and French press coffee to finish your meal! We loved it!

There’s no better place on the east coast than Northern Union. Tim, Colleen, owners Lauren & Matt plus the entire staff make your meal an experience. The drinks & food are made to perfection every time. Our first night in OGT is always at Northern Union. It’s the sort of place you fondly reminisce about as the winter months crawl on toward yet another season in Maine.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary, and I will give them the benefit of the doubt since they had just changed to a tapas style menu. The service was excellent, but we were not super satisfied with the food, the tapas style apps were great, but the duck entree was so so. This place does have the added benefit of having its own parking lot, but in the competitive Ogunquit market, they might need a few more tweaks. But overall, very enjoyable experience.

Cannot get enough of this place! Yes, the portions are not what you get at, say, Outback Steakhouse. That’s because you are not going to a chain steakhouse. The food is delicious, the drinks are out of this world, the bartender will make you whatever you want and suggest something you’ve never had before if you like. We had the same server as we did last year (Rob) and he’s incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, there-when-you-need-him-and-not-when-you-don’t, and has a dry, sly sense of humor. Can’t wait to go back!

New age Restaurant. Trendy atmosphere with very attentive staff, good wine selection ( moderately priced) . Had dinner at the bar. Bartender was amazing, knowledgeable and shared many excellent choices for exploring. The food was very chemistry oriented, complexity in flavors to amuse the palate. Portions are very European so schedule multiple courses if famished. I am old school when it comes to Foie Gras. The émulsion présentation was not what I was expecting this was the only disappointment for me. The oven roasted carrots with parsnip puree, Omg delightful. The lamb loin was excellent cooked as requested. The mint chimichury to my surprise completed the loin quite well. Yes I will revisit.

Service was great, but got disappointed with size of food portions. It’s pricey for what you’re getting.

A pleasant place, a wonderful waitress, and the smallest, least satisfying meal portion of any restaurant I’ve been to in my 65 years. The chef clearly doesn’t consider why people go to dinner – because they’re HUNGRY. (It’s not just about him impressing us with his skills, or the presentation, sometimes we’re actually HUNGRY). It was insulting and even comical how tiny the salmon was (with a few, yes a few, spears of asparagus) , or my girlfriend’s dish of 5 Tortellini. No bread, no salad, nothing, just a shot glass for water on our table. We had to stop on our way back to our hotel to find something to snack on or I’d have gone to bed starving. I’m sure many others enjoyed their meal, the chef likely is a fine one, but I’ll never go back there again. Shame on them for serving something so paltry. (and $15 for an equally paltry glass of house wine was ridiculous too). Suggestion to anyone considering this place – go with a full belly.
