On First visit, may be my new favorite Indian spot in the city. Curries were extremely flavorful, will be back!

We have been waiting for Viva India to open, and it was worth the wait! We got veggie pakora and samosas along with mango lassi – everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. A new favorite!

Viva India offers a delightful fusion of flavors in a modern setting. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the food, which came in portions large enough to share. The attentive and friendly staff added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. They were well-versed in the menu and offered insightful suggestions. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Indian dishes or looking to explore new flavors, Viva India in Hyde Park is a must-visit.

A local gem. Delicious variety of authentic Indian appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts. Food is always seasoned and cooked perfectly for dine-in or carry-out. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Staff are so friendly, they live in the neighborhood and clearly take pride in the business. Highly recommend

We loved Viva! We ordered a wide variety of dishes and enjoyed each of them, and sharing them with friends! The flavors were the star of the show! Environment and staff were great too! A picture of the wiped clean bowl with delicious Naan…forgot the pretty before pics because those smells just said “dig in”!

The menu has most of the foods that you’ll traditionally find it any Indian restaurant, but the quality of the food was clearly better than just about anywhere else in the city. The sauces felt homemade and special, and every dish had something unique about it that was a pleasant surprise. The service was excellent as well. The decor was fine.

I have eaten at a significant number of Indian restaurants in Cincinnati and Viva India is my new favorite. I’ve ordered pickup from them a few times now, and every time the service staff is incredibly friendly and immediately welcoming. The food is top notch as well. You can tell they add spice at every step of the way, including the chicken, the sauce, and they also add cumin to the basmati rice for a burst of flavor. I ordered the chicken makhni at a spice level 5, kheer (rice pudding) and garlic naan. It’s one of the few restaurants in the area that spices to the level that you order which is ideal. If you love Indian food and haven’t eaten here, do yourself a favor.

Took me back to my first experience of eating Indian food. So good I can’t recommend it enough. And they were very accommodating to the Vegan dinner. I hope they do loose their spice and become complacent like so many other Indian restaurants in town.
