Ramen Tatsunoya Menu – Los Angeles, CA

Type : Ramen restaurant

Location : Los Angeles, CA

Ramen Tatsunoya’s newest location is in the heart of Silver Lake on Sunset Blvd. We specialize in pork-based, tonkotsu ramen, reflecting our place of origin, Kurume City in Fukuoka, the birthplace of tonkotsu ramen. The secret of our rich, yet light tonkotsu broth is in the ingredients. Inside, there’s nothing but pork skull bone and water. The broth is simmered for over 15 hours at a high temperature to achieve the maximum umami, providing both a bold richness and a mildness at the same time. Our noodles are made exclusively by a local artisanal noodle company just for us, using our original recipe. Prior to its use at our Pasadena location, Ramen Tatsunoya’s noodle recipe had never left our factory in Japan. We look forward to seeing you!

I called in advance around 9:20 to see if we were allowed to dine since they closed at 10 PM. They hesitated a bit, but we said we were 1 min from another ramen place at the corner. Arrived at a park in the front; they also have spacious parking in the back.

Perfect location in Silverlake for a ramen spot. They have easy parking in the back and there was no issue getting a table. We both got ramen bowls and a starter of gyoza which was all delicious. Sitting in the front patio around sunset with good food was the perfect end to my day. I’m giving four stars because our service was a little non existent. Our waiter never came back after dropping off the food to give us drink refills. After our food the last interaction with him was when we received the check. Other than that, the spot is awesome and i’ll be back for more ramen.

Absolutely delicious. They have a location in Pasadena which I go to a lot. I’m glad they opened this location closer to ktown. I prefer my ramen with thin noodles. The broth is very rich and savory here. And is very consistent each time I come. Honestly think that tatsunoya has the BEST ramen in LA. Service is excellent. Plenty of parking in the back.

Their takoyaki is good! I’m a fan of their ramen too and saw they have a curry ramen that I’ll definitely try next time. It’s fast and service is good, with a lot in the back.
