This was our first time at this location and when we walked in the restaurant was extremely clean. Instead of ordering with a person or at the table they have kiosks to put in your order. That was different. But the food came out hot and delicious. The employees we did encounter were very nice and helpful. The shakes were amazing as always. Great family dinner spot.

The food was good. The price was fair. They weren’t very busy in the store but seemed a little understaffed considering they have a drive thru window as well. It’s not very personable you order at a kiosk and someone comes to yell the order number and disappears. They seemed very friendly to a couple of customers they knew. Overall the food was good and the service was pretty quick. I’d recommend it.

No more servers, at least at this location. Touchscreen to order, then pick up your food when it’s ready. I think the menu is only hamburgers, fries, chili and milkshakes. No salad or chicken sandwich. Still tastes good but the experience is missing something.

I have seen this steak n shake mostly bit empty. We have got shakes multiple times from here and its good. Just that it seems like a more of a drive thru location that people coming in for dine in.

They have eliminated servers entirely. You have to use a kiosk to enter your order. Then they call your number when its ready. Not the usual experience for a Steak n Sheak but I get it. No body wants to work anymore, but to then to have the nerve to ask for a tip! Come on, of and apparently don’t clean the bathroom anymore.

The steak n shake in Glenview across from the target is well run and super super clean and very happy people with happy faces making a magnificent hamburger I got the triple combo added bacon and an extra burger patty so four burger patties three pieces of cheese and bacon, mustard, lettuce, tomato, extra onions and extra pickles it was amazing so if you read this go to steak n shake and get one and don’t forget the chocolate shake.

The lights were off in the drive-thru menu so when I asked if they were possibly closed (because sometimes restaurants will turn off their lights right before closing time) the guy at the speaker apologized and someone actually came out and turned them on with a nod. He was apologetic as well which was no problem at all. In fact, I thought it was awesome that they didn’t take less than a second to fix their mistake and then quickly continued with taking my order, answering my questions, etc. The food was served hot and fresh, as well as the tasty milkshakes. Additionally, as requested two ketchup packets were handed to me with my food as well. Excellent customer service. Everyone inside appeared professional and worked well together- we waited for a bit for our food to come- so you could see them working on it. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and was packaged carefully too. I would definitely visit this specific S&S location again- great customer service at the drive-thru is hard to come by these days!
