Attentive, friendly staff. Live music. Cute decor. Nice patio. I think the best fries I’ve ever had. It drives me crazy when spots serve their fries unseasoned. Not only were they seasoned here, but there was some kind of special seasoning on them besides just salt and petter that was amazing. (Please tell me what it is so I can get it at home!) The GM Alexander and the bartenders took great care of us. Even the Bus Boy was cool.

Will try to come back. I respect what they are doing..and like a lot of it. Mac and cheese, Yes! Coors on tap?! Yes! No place even has Coors in the cooler let alone on tap.

Macaroni and cheese and cornbread were good. Chicken was tasty but a little dry. But what really gets me is the pickles. We ordered a jar of pickles and were given a cup of pickle chips…how did they mess that up…I just figured the menu was misleading until I mentioned it to friends who recommended the pickles and they said they got a jar of pickle spears, not a cup of pickle chips.

Came here with my family for a Friday night meal. The wait for a table wasn’t awful, but we waited over an hour to get our food. Mediocre is too kind to describe this food. I had better meals at Willoughby South High School. Nothing is fresh and actually looks like it sat out in the open for a couple of hours. I for see a food poisoning complaints in the future here. They also ran out of glasses and started taking ours off our table.

My experience at Duke and Boots was nothing less than exceptional. The things that matter were present- cleanliness, service, value, and great food.

Went here for the first time. Atmosphere was really nice. Big change from what it was since Burgers n Beer. Andrew was our server, outstanding service, on spot when our drinks were getting low, informative on the menu…fried green tomatoes were delicious. He was very personable and attentive. I will be back if for nothing else, but Andrew. Thank you for a great first impression.

Let me start by saying we are huge Dante fans, love all his restaurants until now. This was a big disappointment. Let’s start off with the positives, corn bread was amazing and service was fine. Food quality is poor not the quality we have come to expect from a Dante restaurant. The chicken was overcooked. Way too much breading that was dark and hard. Fried Green tomatoes were bland. Braised greens was like 3 pieces of kale for $8, way over priced. Mac and Cheese was strange. We did tell the staff about our concerns, honestly I don’t think they cared. We are very disappointed and we will not be returning. I hope they turn things around or this restaurant will not be successful.

Waited for this place to open for a long time. Once I walked in there was only a group of four people standing in front of me. We waited for at least 30 to 45 minutes for the hostess to be able to even take our name and phone number because they were having him run and seat people as well and the line was out the door. They definitely underestimated the rush and are severely understaffed. My husband ordered the drumsticks and the chicken was not done at all. It took forever for us to get our drinks when we were finally seated and we had to ask our server where our drinks were several times. It took 45 minutes because she said that the bartenders lost our slip. They definitely need to rethink the stage and putting the tables directly in front of it. You can’t even talk to the person sitting right next to you in your face for how loud it was. Just super upset with how our experience was. I would say the best part about it was the fries. Hopefully they figure it out because the ambience was cool.

Friday night was busy and the patio was full so we sat inside. When they sat us, they gave us a drink menu but no food menu. It took a little while to get a server to take our drink orders and she gave us the food menu at that time. A bit inefficient. When the server brought the drinks, we ordered our food. The cornbread we ordered came out 2 minutes after we ordered it! It was piping hot and delicious. The jalapeño peppers on top were not hot and gave the dish a great taste. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes appetizer, the ribs and fried chicken. Almost an hour later, the ribs and the tomatoes were delivered. The ribs were falling off the bone, but did not have nearly enough sauce. The fries were crispy hot and topped with Parmesan. Yummy. Half an hour after that, we were asked if we wanted a box. My husband asked about the fried chicken and the server said, “ you never got your chicken?” Since the server is also the person delivering the food…they should have known. The chicken came out 10 minutes later. By that point I was pretty full from sharing my husband’s meal so I only ate a leg. It was hot and crispy and flavorful. Good fried chicken We were there over two hours and were never offered another drink or water refill. Since the place has only been open for 3 or 4 weeks, we will wait a while and try it again. The food was good, the service and timing were horrendous. We’re hopeful they’ll get the rest of it together soon because it is a promising place, but we’ll wait a few months. We gave it 3 stars even with the bad service and timing only because it is so new and the food was good.
