This is such a classic BBQ joint. It gives you fast food vibes, but without fast food flavor. The brisket wasn’t super stand out for me, but I am totally still drooling over the pulled pork! The cream corn is more of a sweeter, creamer corn than I’ve had but I enjoyed it. The sauces were alright but I was expecting more out of them! There’s lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The banana pudding was also delightful!

Let’s be honest up front: This is a chain restaurant, and is not going to win any awards for the most authentic Texas barbecue. But by Colorado standards this is very good BBQ. Tasty meats, all gluten-free, decent prices, friendly service. The lines can be long but move quickly. Easy way to feed a family. The brisket is the best you’ll find in a 40 mile radius. Pork ribs are also good. But sides can be disappointing.

Hard to beat the atmosphere of an old Texaco filling station (gas still available) but the food ended up being very hit or miss. Kinda makes sense with such a larger operation though. The good: baby back ribs The decent: potato salad, brisket, 3 bean salad & banana pudding. The hard pass: chicken (tastes like lighter fluid), cole slaw (no seasoning whatsoever), corn on the cob (dried up and no flavor). Overall an ok experience, worth a visit but prob not a return at it’s current state.

Got the breakfast tacos. One was spicy chop and cheese (cheddar); the other was egg, jalapeño sausage, and bacon. Spicy chop was better. Tried the sissy sauce and regular sauce; didn’t notice much difference. Very good!

Great place for amazing cooked BBQ. The food as great flavor by it self then you add the BBQ and it’s to die for. The pork is hands down the best thing they have, everything there taste amazing though you can’t go wrong. They have paper rolls for you to use as plates witch is really nice to eat on and makes cleaning up way easy. Great place for the family. Have to check out the country store on your way out. Great snacks and ice cream to buy for the trip home

Nice bbq spot. Stopped in to get some lunch after a trip up Pikes Peak. If you are new to Rudy’s, let them know. First timers are greeted with some free samples, just for asking.

Moist briskets are great, nice and juicy some parts of it are a bit burnt like burnt end.

This spot for great bbq in Colorado! Stop here and get some food! Lots of options. They weigh food per pound and you can add sides and desserts! The line goes like a cafeteria style where you get and pay food before you sit down good spot to get gas too! Don’t miss this restaurant when you’re visiting Colorado Springs or driving by!

We recently ordered online and was very disappointed. I’ve eaten here enough times over the years to know the quality of food I’m purchasing for an order of almost $70. Our sandwich had a few slices of tough meat and it was missing half of the bun and squished inside it’s wrapper. It was dry and definitely gave the impression that the closer to their closing time – the worse quality of food they’re willing to put out. The moist brisket was more than just marbled with fat, one of the 3 slices I was given was just fat and skin. Normal I don’t shy away from fat, especially if I’m choosing to order the moist but when the bark is tough and dry with no meat and only fat…that’s a different story. I tried to call to voice my concerns, we weren’t even given an apology or sincerity of any kind. They didn’t offer to look into the order, and didn’t let us speak to a manager when we asked. The staff simply told us they couldn’t help since we ordered off DoorDash, and that the manager told them as such. Rudy’s clearly doesn’t care enough to hear the concerns of their customers about the food they’re giving out regardless of what third party we order from.
