Not a friendly face from either employee. Fixing our sandwichs was a huge inconvenience to both of them obviously. When sandwichs were fixed, we had to argue with both of them on to what our sandwichs were and what length they were.

Subway in Mt Vernon, AL on hwy 43. Went in at 630pm on Wednesday night on January 4, 2023. Had a party of 4 to order sandwiches. We stood there a few minutes deciding what we wanted. Then when we were ready to order one of the 2 young girls working said they were out of bread. Why didn’t they tell us that while we were deciding which sandwich to order?? Were going to order a salad but half of the veggies were frozen and unedible. Left subway and went across the street to mcdonalds to eat. This is the 2nd time I’ve gone in this subway and left because of pathetic service. First time the cashier couldnt figure out how to use my coupon and had the nerve to tell me I had to pay full price because she wasn’t trained to do coupons. Needless to say our party walked out and went somewhere else to eat. Will never go to this subway again. Extremely rude and poor service both times

Today was my last time ordering from here, and the same thing has happened the last 3 times I’ve placed an online order from this store. I ordered a foot long steak and cheese with double meat, toasted…. Picked up my sandwich and it has far less than double, honestly about half the meat that’s supposed to be on a normal sandwich. The bread seems like it’s not even cooked. It’s almost gooey and has a whiteish color go it, with absolutely no signs of being toasted. I’ve gave them my money for the last time.

This store is the WORST Subway I’ve ever visited! It truly needs to be closed down! I live in the area of Mount Vernon and now is the 5th time that I have tried to get my family dinner. All 5 times they have been out of Italian Herb and Cheese bread. The ONLY bread they have is white and wheat. The white bread is not cooked all the way nor have they let it rise! I refuse to go there again!! There was not a car in the parking lot!! No wonder! Please close it down and give us something we can actually eat!

This is a great place to eat. I have been here more than once and like the food. I got a tuna whole wheat sandwich with spinach, tomatoes, green peppers, black olives, pepper jack cheese and dressing. I recently got an Italian bread sandwich with salami and all the other things I had in the tuna sandwich except tuna. I bought bottled water once which is refrigerated and liked it. This last time I got the vitamin water from the soda machine and liked it. You can’t get free drink refills right now due to Covid regulations or sit inside. The chairs have either been pushed in or put on the tables. You can get a custom pizza or salad if you don’t want a sandwich. The side choices are a bag of chips or cookies. The restroom is located within the gas station connected to the subway. You can pay with your phone by holding it to a scanner if you don’t want to pay with cash or card. The employees here have decorated the inside with cute ghosts, orange pumpkins made out of felt and other things for Halloween. The employees here work hard and may ask you to repeat yourself so they make sure they get your custom order right. There is a glass barrier between you and the employee to keep the food clean so there might be slight hearing issues between you and them. Be patient about having to repeat yourself or them repeating what you said for one minute and you will get a delicious, healthy meal made within ten to fifteen minutes. Remember these people are not machines and they are making your food to the best of their ability. Also, you may have to wait beyond fifthteen minutes if there is a long line of customers ahead of you. Be patient and the line moves along. The employees will ask if you want your bread toasted or if you want crackers to go with your salad once you get to the cash register. This Subway is superb on cleanliness like all Subways I have encountered. Also, you can get copouns mailed to you if you visit regularly and request coupons be sent to your address at any Subway.

This subway needs so much work! They are always out of EVERYTHING. I ordered a 6 inch sandwich, when making it the worker put all the toppings directly in the center of the bread, so on the ends your just eating bread and get only about 2 inches of actual sandwich fillings, then she put the Mayo and mustard so close to the edge that the condiments are on the outside of the sandwich after closing it and the inside is very dry. To top it off she used a dirty knife that she pulled out of a dirty water basin with sauces and food particles floating in it, the knife still had white sauce all over it from the previous sandwiches and used that to scut and close the sandwich gag.

Every time I go into this subway the workers are encouraging the customers to leave because they claim they have to many orders . They have even gone as far as locking the door not allowing customers to even come in and locking the customers who are inside waiting in because they can not handle a lunch rush. I’ve never been to a restaurant that both times I’ve tried to eat there they encourage me to not get in line

I don’t normally leave negative reviews but this place is just awful I have been here 3 times and on the third time I said I won’t be coming back. They are always out of at least a third of the normal ingredients, almost no chips, several drink options were not available either. Staff unfriendly and certainly not in a hurry, go to the McDonald’s across the street and be done with it.

I usually really enjoy this shop, but I was amazed as I checked out that a new employee was allowed to have earphones in one ear with music playing so loud I could hear it. The whole time asking me to repeat the order as I tried to order my sub. It is a shame when this is allowed, hoping this is corrected
