Beautiful space, great to work remotely and have amazing pastries and good food for a lunch. The almond croissant? Out of this world. Great tea selection.

This place is busy! The food is quite good. If you come later in the day expect items to be out. The egg sandwich was phenomenal. Crispy potatoes were very tasty and the brownies were exactly how brownies should be. Fudgy and a little crisp on the outside and very choclatey and rich. Overall love it here. My only gripe is the self seating can be quite difficult especially with parties sitting before they’ve even ordered. If they had a few more tables, this place would be perfect.

Had been a while since I tried Tartine. It was at a different location (Mission District). Inner Sunset location is pretty cool. However, the menu and pricing has definitely changed quite a bit. For sure its pricey pricey~ with all the mandated fees and taxes on top of overly priced drinks and average bakeries ( both savory and sweet scones were super tough- big no no for us), croissant was good and almond lemon teacake was on the sweeter side ( lil too sweet for us). Latte & Cappuccino, well nothing too special other than their prices. Would skip their bakeries and go for sandwiches or other menu items next time!

The food was so good, the best potatoes I’ve had in a while, we even ordered don’t to go. I only wish they’d invest in a different seating arrangement. I think if there were a long bench against the wall, there’d be more seating, and it would limit people taking chairs from all over the restaurant and leaving tables without their chairs.

This tartine is way less polished than the others. Common to find tables that need to be cleaned and utensils restocked etc.

The combination of the avocado toast and flavor is wonderful. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. Good egg combination. The matcha Latte was epic. My only suggestion is to make the seating area bigger.

Incredibly overpriced for what it is. The place is fine and the food is just fine but we paid $42 ($37 without the tip) for 2 egg sandwiches and 1 chocolate croissant, all of which, were just okay, and not particularly big. The egg sandwiches are probably 2 eggs, with a bit of mayo and arugula on a brioche bun and for $13.50 id expect there to be some meat. The brioche bun was a bit dry. The chocolate croissant left something to be desired, mostly that flaky buttery goodness you expect from a typical croissant. Used to love their egg salad sandwich but they took off the menu. We don’t have a reason to go back now.

The best croissants and baked goods and bread, period. I go here several times a month and it’s always a highlight. However, I’ve found their lattes to be lacking – milk is almost cooked. Have gotten their beans before and those are decent, so not sure what’s up. Overall still my favorite spot. Can get crowded so avoid the weekends.
