We arrived when they opened at 5pm. We sat outside at the edge of the back of the restaurant when it started raining. The atmosphere was perfect, very relaxing. I ordered a cocktail, the Ivy Martini and it was very good. For graduation weekend, they had a set meal plan, so we picked appetizers. I had the shrimp and scallop ceviche, salad. My husband tried the shrimp and grits and it was very tasty. We both tried the ivy mixed green salad, and as an entre: grilled certified Angus beef tenderloin. Dessert was served as two items, biscuit with strawberry marzipan and lemon glaze as well a chocolate cake with a creamy caramel flavored sauce.

The culinary skills of the chef are impeccable! Every dish we got was exquisite; the mac and cheese was probably my favorite dish. The server was super nice and very helpful. The atmosphere is romantic and calming. A little pricey, but I highly recommend this place for a date night or special occasion!

All were decent experiences but the server took forever just to refill the water or bring an extra roll, of bread. She didn’t come soon enough to check on the meals brought out by others. It was getting cold by the time she came so didn’t even ask for what I originally hoped to ask…

Visited on a trip with my wife for our anniversary. What a fantastic place! Reminded us of a place we loved from our home town of Trenton , MI called Savannah’s, which was also in a big old house, with very separate rooms, and was very unique and charming. The service was beyond amazing and attentive and everything we ate was better than we could have hoped! I think my favorite thing though, was the side of the summer squash casserole. Holy moly! So good! Loved this place!

My wife and I dined here as part of our 30th anniversary celebratory weekend. The food and service were wonderful and the staff even printed a special menu acknowledging our anniversary. The Creme Brulee was delectable and a personalized note written on the dessert plate capped off the dinner in a nice way. Very well done.

Great dining experience from start to end. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful with recommendations. My steak came out medium well instead of medium rare. They were nice about correcting it. Overall, all dishes we had were very flavorful. Looking forward to my next experience there!

I’ve eaten at a number of Michelin star restaurants in my life and how this restaurant hasn’t been awarded one yet, is beyond me. The entire experience was flawlessly executed. The server was completely on top of everything, the presentation of the food was exceptional – and the taste… I was blown away by how flavorful everything single bite was of every single dish.
