Birthday dinner. Not happy. We had oyster Rockefeller which were some of the best we’ve had. She had Dover Sole seafood plate. The fish was perfect and the shrimp. But the scallops were tiny, chewy, and had taste of fish. The crab stuffing, in the words of my wife were “disgusting”. I tried a bit and had to spit it out agreeing with my wife. They ended up taking it off the bill. I had aged 12oz filet mignon. The outside edges were dry and overcooked but inside much better and juicy. The “Larsen House Fries” were nothing special, very blan and ordinary and they charge $16. They gave us free dessert for the BD occasion. The waiter “Christian” was very knowledgeable and helpful. He did smell of cigarettes and since he leaned into us to explain things both the wife and I could smell his bad breath (most likely from smoking).

One of the best restaurant experiences I have had in the area. The ambiance was captivating. The piano played in the bar area was magical. The layout of the place, aesthetically appealing. Charlene was a delight and supremely knowledgeable about pairings and menu items.

Best Filet Mignon I’ve had from a steakhouse in my life! I’ve been a frequent customer at BOA steakhouse but decided to try Larsen’s. Boy was I happy I made that decision… Not only was my steak cooked to perfection but the truffle fries completed the meal. Not to mention the service was outstanding even know it was incredibly busy for a Thursday night. I’ll definitely be coming back or ordering delivery if I’m being lazy LOL!

Went to dinner for anniversary with my wife! Grandma watching our 1yo. We don’t eat at too many fancy places, especially these days, so for us this was a special treat! Our waiter, Craig was awesome! He explained everything and more, recommending many things that weren’t on the menu! Moreover he had such a good vibe: an older gentlemen, he felt like an endearing character out of a classic black and white movie that would indirectly give the main character life changing advice. We ended up having a pork belly starter & Larsen’s version of Moscow mules (they kicked! but we’re lightweight, intermittent fasting, keto people… usually). Whew, bread was good too and not just because of keto! We had the dry aged prime steaks 12oz – never have I had a steak like this – so good I almost regret the Moscow mule! Potato scallops (not on the menu) and purple cauliflower. Finished with chocolate cake. It was a great and memorable experience. My best tip is to request Craig as your waiter!

Normally I would give Larsen’s 5 stars. Today they earned 3. Went for my best friends bday in a large party. One of the waiters a older gentleman was extremely rude to certain individuals in our party. Also I didn’t like that my receipt didn’t reflect the amount I had to pay as the staff decided to charge a gratuity after the receipt was given and did not match the total paid amount.

I ordered the Daou Cabernet Sauvingon 2019, 24 oz Prime Bone in Ribeye, Sauteed Mushrooms on the side, side of Creamed Spinach and side of Mashed Potatoes. The very best part was the Creamed Spinach. It’s definitely the gold standard for me when it comes to Creamed Spinach. Unfortunately the cut of meat was not the best but everything else was great.

If you want the worst $40 crab cakes you’ll ever eat, this is your place. I’m from Maryland and crab is life, so I have some credibility there. I could get frozen cakes from Walmart and it would’ve been just as good. They FRIED the crab cake. You never fry a crab cake, let alone use green and red pepper in them… there was also some sort of hollandaise sauce on top. Totally ruined the crab. The thing was like a dry crunchy hockey puck. *Charles Barkley voice* Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Just thought I’d warn other east coasters looking for a taste of home. This ain’t it!
