How I loved this place. My partner and I went to 2 different Cracker Barrel. We went to the one in Huntsville and the other in Georgia. I can say the one in Huntsville, was the better out of the 2. The staff were lovely and we were all taken care of. The food was really good and the price was just right. I loved the little bottles of syrup that came with the pancakes. I’m vegan so having the beyond meat option was amazing. My next trip to the States, I will be coming back again.

My chicken was so hard it didn’t want to come off the bone. The extra extra extra crispy skin had a nice taste when I could get enough. It was so hard and crispy that it was literally breaking apart. You can see how hard the inside looks when torn apart. The wait was extremely long, and I didn’t mind getting fresh cooked chicken, but after waiting 20 minutes, they could have at least offered a cup of water. I was there around 35 minutes.

Upon entry, I was laughed at for asking for a table instead of a booth. I was unaware there are no booths at Cracker Barrel. We were seated immediately as it was not currently busy. 40 minutes later, we had no food and empty drinks while others around us were being served. The server did not bring us biscuits after she asked if we preferred biscuits or corn muffins. I even asked for a refill that didn’t come until our food had arrived. My partner did not receive any refills so she was forced to eat her food without a drink. The server reassured us twice that the food would be here in 3 to 5 minutes but after an additional 20 minutes of not receiving any food, she stopped checking on our table completely. After waiting just under an hour, she brings our food and acknowledged that it took forever. I asked what the holdup was and why we have not received biscuits while others around us had. She tells us we need to ask for them to be brought out before our food (even though she still did not have the biscuits for us when she brought out our food). She eventually took responsibility for the mistake and said that she had forgot. I’m obviously not happy at this point and as the wait time was absurd and the food presented to us was less than satisfactory. After expressing our unhappiness to our waitress, she sends someone else with our biscuits and a free side of gravy we didn’t ask for. The gravy was inedible. Our “grilled” chicken tenders were burnt, the sides were almost cold, and overall a big disappointment. Our waitress then refuses to check on our table from then on, and completely ignores us while helping all other tables around us. I grab her attention by asking for the check when I realize she was not going to return to our table. Her back was turned to us as she was leaving, she angrily turns around and with a terrible attitude and yells at me that she was “about to bring it to me!” I tell her that she needs to lose the attitude and she tells me I’m the one with an attitude. I’m completely done with the Delk Rd Marietta location. I’ve had nothing but great experiences in the past with Cracker Barrel but this one was a special kind of awful. There was a manager nearby monitoring the situation who never bothered to check on us to rectify our problems. We will not be returning to this location.

This was the worst! And I’m not exaggerating.. The absolute worst running experience I’ve had! 1 st I don’t know who told Cracker Barrel to mess with their menu but they needed to just leave well enough alone. But after finally figuring out what I was going to eat my party of 6 and I placed our order. 30 mins later the waitress who was sweet and great by the way … Tells me and another person who ordered the same that they were out of the item! So back to the drawing board.. In the meantime 3 others in my party were served but my son who didn’t order what me and the other person ordered never got his food! This played out for another hour and ended with me not eating anything, my son’s order taking forever and then after being told they’d comp the entire table we leave our waitress a nice tip but then the oncoming manager coming outside to the parking lot to tell us we need to pay to which I replied.. No sir.. excited l explained to him what happened and said if we were trying to skip out on a bill we wouldn’t still be talking and taking our time to leave. They have a lot of improving to do! Our wait was relatively short for a Sunday. They brought 2 little syrups for 3 people who all needed syrup. Our food was ok except we asked for more syrup. The server took drink orders for 2 other tables & helped another table. We waited for 15 mins for syrup. Syrup! She brought the drinks for the other tables & no syrup for us. My husband & son’s food got cold waiting. The server sent the manager & she was very matter of fact, offered no apology just asked do you want your food remade. We had the food remade & granted that was relatively quick, but guess what?….when she came back with new food….still no syrup. Someone else brought it shortly after. It just wasn’t a great experience. We were driving from Indiana to Florida, nobody wants to have a sour breakfast experience after driving 8-9 hours. Anytime we’ve had a server issue at a Cracker Barrel, the manager & server at least try to act like they care.

What happened??? Used to be one of our favorite place to eat. Today, not so much. Food cold. Chicken cooked dark, old grease and Mac and cheese very cold. It’s just 11:30am. Should have been better. Guess it time for me to find another favorite spot. Same thing a week ago.
