My wife placed an order for delivery and was informed it would be delivered within the hour. After nearly 2 hours of waiting I decided to call and just cancel. We called over 10 times and the first couple of times it wouldn’t even ring, just seemed to be hanging up. Then I called and it would ring continuously with no answer. We had made plans that couldn’t be canceled (and I wouldn’t do that for pizza anyways), and decided I’d drive to the location. This is where it gets interesting…. I walk in and the lady behind the counter doesn’t notice me. The phone rings, and she muted the phone! The phone rings again and she mutes it again! She certainly didn’t seem busy, just lethargic. She sees me and was startled. I explained to her that I needed to cancel and had to drive down due to being hung up on and she says, “well I’m not hanging up on them” and asks me “how much the order was for”. I said roughy $50. She said she couldn’t find the order and so I pulled up my bank account for the transaction. She still can’t find the order and asks the Manager (making pizza) for help. He’s not paying too much attention and mumbled something. I walked over to cut out the middle person and explained to him the situation. He said he’d cancel the order and refund the money and asked if I needed anything else (kinda snarky). I questioned how he was going to cancel an order when they can’t find the order itself? He just replied he would. I walk back over to the lady who’s still hanging up on callers and and asked if she’s found it. She said “well it’s not our fault it’s out for delivery. She calls the driver and asks where they were and asked me if I still wanted the pizza and I said absolutely not. She From the service to the professionalism, all were zero stars. I’m still baffled.

Visited the Surf City location for the first time 4/12 for dinner. The lady at the counter seemed like she didn’t want to be there. We walked in, very minimal greeting, gave us a menu. She was taking orders on the phone while we looked at the menu. Never really said anything when she got off the phone, just stood there. My wife said I think she’s waiting for us to order. Poor customer service. They were not at all busy. Fried pickles and cheese sticks were very good. Pasta and sandwiches were good, nothing too special. Didn’t try the pizza. The person that brought the food out, maybe a cook / kitchen worker was nice. Based on this experience, not sure we will good back. Got to provide better service. Based on reviews, seems to be an issue at the Surf City location.

Please explain to me how we get our delivery and my husband ordered 2 pieces of chocolate cake for us for New Years and both slices were covered in mold. My husband calls back up to the restaurant and lets them know and to have them replaced with something else (which they are lucky we called them and gave them a heads up instead of the administration). Why they did not catch this before they sent it out to us I will never know. The manager spoke through the waitress on the phone as if my husband could not hear him and told her that he’s not replacing anything, he took it off the bill and will refund us and that’s our discount. Well that defeated the purpose of not going out on New Years Eve and dealing with traffic but also how is that a discount if we still have 2 disgusting pieces of cake. We were not asking for a refund only for the food to be replaced. We were not trying to get something for nothing. However that manager was rude as can be when he thought my husband could not hear him and also he should have been a little more concerned over the fact that the cake was covered in mold versus a refund or replacement of the food. That’s the least of his worries if that’s what they are sending out to their customers. This is a huge health hazard in the restaurant not to mention poor management to customer who have been here ordering from them since they opened their doors in Surf City. pictures included.

I ordered a large supreme pizza and was quoted $21 over the phone. I show up and they charged me $42 for a pizza. I let the associate know and he did nothing. Not only is that outrageous for a pizza, I was quoted the wrong price over the phone and they still insisted on charging me $42 for a large pizza. We live in the area and will never be coming back. Such a disappointing experience with terrible customer service. There are plenty of other pizza places in the area. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here.

Stromboli and calzone are mostly dough and were overcooked and extremely dry and way too crunchy. Quality of food here has been hit and miss for a while now. On my last visit the pizza crust had zero flavor and was not cooked enough and had a very sticky doughy taste to it.

The lasagna is just noodles and too much sauce with a little mozzarella cheese. No ricotta. It was also blazing hot for forever because they cook it in aluminum take out containers. This is mostly a pizza place. The crust was kinda tough and bland. The guys in the kitchen appear to be doing most of the work while staff near the register stand around. It’s overpriced and we won’t be going back.

Not the place it used to be!!!! 3 of us ordered lasagna and 1 spaghetti. None of the dishes were good. Two had to be sent back because they were cold. The other two were only warm and not like they were straight out of an oven. Both the lasagna and spaghetti had to be frozen food that was heated to serve. None of the food tasted good. It was a huge disappointment. Even the garlic knots weren’t good. We did see someone else there with a pizza which appeared to be good but I can’t say for sure about the taste or warmth of the pizza. They did give us some free cannolis to make up for the dishes that had to be sent back. The cannolis were good, but we won’t be back.

4 of us went in for Lunch. Had to call the cashier from the back. She seemed inconvenienced and gave Rude service. Overpriced! $20 for a small pizza. My $19 Meatball sub tasted old! Everyone’s food was not edible. Slow getting food 1 order at a time. Would not recommend eating here. We left without eating.
