I had a very positive experience with the food. My friend and I ordered appetizers to shares. The drinks we had were also pretty solid. Service was also solid, and the place has a nice vibe overall. I recommend the fried rice with yellowtail appetizer, and the fried cauliflower. Both were really delicious.

My office coworkers and I ate at Seamore for the first time, the Kale salad was superb, added blacken shrimp, the shrimp was overcooked but it was still tasty. My friends ordered the lobster roll and was disappointed that the portion of lobster was super small, it got lost in the bread, the other order was taco with grilled shrimp not very grand. The server was indifferent, won’t name her but will call her J. I am not sure if I will go back to give them another chance.

This was suggested by a student who works here so full disclosure: the poké was comped. Regardless, we liked the vibe of the place (ersatz beach) and the lobster mac and cheese is highly recommended. They have a happy hour ($3 drinks at 3 pm, $4 drinks at 4 pm and $5 drinks at…5 pm!) with $2 oysters apiece so the bar area gets really packed. And noisy. Smokers are allowed in the outdoors area, weather permitting.

I’ve been for lunch and the food and service were great. What sealed the 5* for me was recently hosting a client happy hour here. They accommodated us fairly last minute and when the weather required us to move the reservation indoors last minute they made that work too. Food and drinks were on point – still thinking about the cauliflower pesto flatbread (shush it was amazing).

The food was good, but the service was slow and inexperienced. We had reservations for 4pm, and showed up on time. The place had about 4 or 5 other parties there. We were seated and they forgot about us. I could see our server hanging out in the bar area talking with her friends. We waited and nobody came. We got up and asked if anyone was going to take our order. Finally someone came to take our order. The server didn’t have a mask on her nose.

Nice place, good atmosphere. Wait staff were ok. The crispy squid looked like a regular place of fried calamari. I had the pollack, cooked well and the sides were plentiful and tasty. I like this as a typical restaurant, but I was always heard that this was a good approximation of Hawaiian food. Not quite the same. So don’t expect that. But the food is good.
