Another visit to cracker barrel on our way home. They told us it would be a 30 minute wait but we got seated probably after 10 mins. I got the daily special again which was pork chops this day which was okay. My son got the fried shrimp plate and he loved it. It was such a huge portion too! The hashbrown casserole is always a must and I particularly like the fried apples. At the end of our meal a nice lady came up to us and gave my father a gift card thanking him for his service in the military. I wish I got a picture of her. Whoever you are thank you!

We stopped here late over the weekend (about an hour prior to closing). I was nervous with it being so late that the food and service wouldn’t be the best. We ordered 2 kid’s meals and 3 entrees When we got our food my daughter’s kid’s meal sliders were burnt and they left off her steak fries. They gave her a small mac and cheese as a side when we actually ordered another kids meal of mac and cheese. I thought let’s give them a chance to see if they r willing to fix it without it being an issue.

Well for starters it was literally 65 degrees out and our server looked like he just got done running a marathon he was sweating so much…not to mention his pinpoint pupils..so yeah! The steak was over cooked and didn’t really taste like normal steak. The corn was worse than cafeteria corn at Knox county schools. The potatoes were so bland, no salt, no butter just meh… The only thing from our order that wasn’t bad was the French toast and bacon. Then again it’s kinda hard to screw that up. Long story short probably not gonna give this location another shot.

It seems that either this location is either severely understaffed or that management just doesn’t care about quality. My food arrived cold, which was comped. But when I asked to talk to the manager about the hair in my biscuit I waited so long I just gave up and left.

On a trip back home from Panama Beach Florida we decided to stop in to the Cracker Barrel. We had a waitress name Carman who continue to tell us she was going through some things and sorry about the wait. 15 minutes later we finally received our food when we received our food and numerous items were missing from each one of our entrées and also the sides were missing. We were very confused, when we went to ask the question about where they were what was going on she told her she’d be right back. She came back with a ranch dressing that was missing and told us that the cooks had forgot to make half of our food. I’m not sure that’s how this works , I have a feeling that she hadn’t put them in and everything was a rush to try to get the rest of our order done after an hour and 30 minutes and after 12 hours on the road, we were ready to go we went out and paid the bill which was over $70 we definitely will not be back to this location and we recommend anybody who is getting off of the highway for a quick meal on the trip does not visit us Cracker Barrel.

Cracker Barrel is my favorite comfort food spots to order from/ eat at. My family goes to this location probably once or twice a week on various occasions. So this morning ( a Wednesday morning) after I got a very painful procedure done I really wanted my number one comfort meal. I ordered online through the app and requested that it be brought to my car so that I wouldn’t have to be in more pain than I already am. I waited 20+ minutes in the to go parking after letting them know I had arrived. Trying to avoid getting out of the car, I tried calling the number posted on the sign but the number wouldn’t connect to the store. So I finally just sucked it up and went inside to pick it up on my own. Mind you this is a Wednesday between the breakfast and lunch crowd- there were 4 employees at the front of the store with no customers in line to be seated. Annoyed that it wasn’t busy and there were plenty of employees working, I asked for my food that had been obviously sitting there forgotten about. I normally don’t have any issues with this location as I know it’s a very busy location right off the interstate. Although I’m disappointed in my experience today.

If I could give zero stars, that would be it. Do not go to this Cracker Barrel they do not care about you or will even serve your food. Ashley was our waitress and we waited on food. We requested biscuits while we waited. While other tables were being served biscuits and food, and we got nothing. It took too long so we walked out. My dad and I just wanted breakfast. ALSO what was even worse was that the bathrooms were gross they look like they haven’t been cleaned and days as well as the floor in the main dining area. If that is what the floors look like, I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like.

I used to shop at their 50% off clothes but the clothes they have now are not the quality they used to have. I don’t think they should sell alcohol and they did away with my favorite breakfast the egg in a basket. Our server Beth is wonderful, we always ask for her

I ordered grilled chicken tenderloins, french fries and Mac and cheese. It would seem logical to put the runny macaroni in a separate bowl and the fries with the chicken. But I ended up with macaroni soap and grilled chicken on a plate and a nice plate of fries.

My wife and I ordered an ol’timer breakfast and we also ordered 1 appetizer. However the appetizer comes out at the same time as our main entree. As for the main entree we both ask for eggs over medium, but the eggs came out with the yolk fully cooked. I mean they were not over medium by a log shot the were cooked so long they were scorched and almost like rubber. We order a type of loaded cheesy steak fries with Ranch as the dipping sauce, but we didn’t receive it so naturally we had to ask for it. This was our worst experience by far at Crackel Barrel. We will be married for 25 years on March 12th, 2024 so we’ve been eating at Cracker Barrel for a while now and really don’t plan on not going to Crackel Barrel in the future. However with the quality of food that we received on this last visit was almost enough for us to not come back after you factor in the sup par service as well. BTW this was Crackel Barrel at the cedar Bluff exit. We really hope these problems are addressed as quickly as possible. Looking back on this experience I paid when the check was brought however for the price of everything that day, and the quantity of food and service I shouldn’t have paid a dime for any of it. Don’t get me wrong I firmly believe in paying for what you get and I also believe you should get what you payed for as well. This was not the case on this day.
