Had a lovely dinner. Everything had great flavor and was so filling. Definitely will be back when I’m in town again. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese, so creamy. Three drinks were tasty too.

Very relax enviorment. William, the server, was very attentive and friendly same as the rest of the staff. The food was well presented and exquisite. Definitely must try! (Pet friendly outdoor seating, Milo gives 10/10)

Been here twice now, once for brunch, which was excellent. Again tonight for dinner, did not disappoint.

Delicious! I had the weekly omelette. It came with potatoes and a jalapeno biscuit. Cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Friendly and quick service! Definitely recommend checking this place out for brunch.

Celebrated my bachelorette weekend dinner at The Market Place. This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was so fresh, service was fantastic, ambiance was quiet and upscale. They made us feel so welcome, and I would absolutely go back again! Highly recommend booking a reservation 2-3 weeks out for special occasions. We had 8 ladies total.

This was the best Shrimp and Grits I’ve had! (Besides my wife’s) and I’ve had shrimp and grits all over the south! the market place is a wonderful restaurant with 44 years of farm to table cooking! I can’t wait to try more off their menu! Especially dinner!

The market place was fine dining. They have a diverse menu, but I can say it isn’t the best in Asheville. My snapper was over salted and the quinoa was over cooked. This is my second time visiting the restaurant so I just chalk it up as a bad day. My friends rated it a 4 star as well. I can’t say my meal was worth the prices, but they did have some nice mock tail selections.

Female waitress was nice, food was absolute trash the drink machine was broken and the steak was cooked wrong for both of us and they charged us 100 dollars for it. Truly repulsive environment, one of the guys came by and turned off the candle behind us and it made the place smell like burnt garbage for the next ten minutes. I will never go there again in my entire life. Don’t be fooled by the gimmick photos, 0/10.

There was good and there was bad. The service was great. The price for this meal was not nearly worth what was received. You can very easily spend up a few dollars and get a much better product, or spend down a few dollars and get the same food and probably still have a better overall meal. The small plates we ordered were severely overpriced and not very good. We got the heirloom tomato small plate. This was $8 and consisted of two slices of tomato, a large bed of arugula, and very few small bits of mozzarella. We also got the fried shrimp small plate. This was $16 and consisted of 3 whole fried shrimp. There was a white cream dip (?) smeared on the plate that had no taste. The shrimp were extremely salty and had a very strong seafood/fishy flavor. One of the shrimp was not deveined. Very gross. Our entrees were very good despite the small plates. We had the pork shoulder. It was cooked perfectly and the corn and roasted peppers were exceptional. We also had the quail which was excellent. Do not rely on the website to check the menu as it was not the same as the menu offered in the restaurant.

The rotating menu always offers something fresh and delicious. The ambiance is always on point. Fabulous food and service at the oldest farm to table restaurant in Asheville is always a win.
