A few weeks ago, I came to eat here with my fiancé and future in laws for brunch. I liked that the restaurant was not too busy and very calming. First of all, the service from wait staff was quite excellent. Our server was very understanding, cordial and patient with us and deserved a generous tip. The food was absolutely delicious. I know that for right now, Amarillo doesn’t have the different unique restaurants as does Lubbock for pretty much every category, but having a place like Cask and Cork really does Amarillo a solid. Something other than the usual IHOP, Waffle House or even Jimmy’s Egg. I personally had the Country Benedict. Cooked very well and outstanding in presentation. Along with that I was able to eat some of the French toast which was also delicious. All around the table, I don’t think one bad thing was said about any of the food or drinks that we had. The coffee was tasteful and not bland like in other places, and the mimosas were mixed well. Overall, I do recommend this place as a good place for brunch or breakfast if you’re looking for something on Sunday after church or throughout the week.

Bar menu, cocktail menu, food, service, atmosphere – everything is on top ❤️ Highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back

Tonight was the third time eating here and it was fantastic! We had the prime rip tonight and while it’s a solid steak I wish I would or ordered the scallops. Their scallops are the best thing I have had since moving to Amarillo! As good as the scallops are the service was even better. The hostess(sorry I didnt get her name) was super friendly and went out of her way to find a menu for tonight’s special whiskey dinner that we did not know about. We will definitely be attending the next one. We got seated at the bar and Jeff took care of us while we waited for our table. Jeff was also amazing and even after we were sat at our table he checked in on us to make sure we were doing good. Our waitress was also very friendly. I just cant say enough about the staff there.

Food was good but service was horrible. Placed an order to go an hour ahead for 6pm. Arrived to pick it up and it wasn’t ready. At pickup, lady at hostess stand was full of attitude and made me feel like a burden. I asked when it would be ready and the response I got was “I don’t know”. I had to ask her to check because I was on a schedule. I ended up having to leave and having someone else pick it up. If they had been transparent and said It’s gonna be another 15-30 minutes or even given me a call, it would have been better. Nope, just got attitude. For spending $50, I’ll find somewhere else.

Had the country benedict. Interesting combo but not enough gravy for my taste. One of the corn muffins went uneaten because it was too dry without the gravy to add the much needed moisture. Asparagus was fine nothing fancy. It did add a bit of color to the plate though. Shredded potatoes were boring and uneventful. They needed some salt and pepper at the very least. Alas…no salt and pepper on any of the tables. I also had the white sangria. It was fine. Just some white wine with some ice and berries tossed in the glass.

The staff is wonderful. I had the bison tenderloin, and in my opinion it just wasn’t what I had experienced before. For the price of the meals I would expect a more intimate experience with my date and not be heating a room full of loud conversation.
