Wow I was blown away by the chicken teriyaki bowl here. The menu isn’t big – it’s focused around ramen, but I’m more of a rice person than noodles so I got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl. They have a mini size which is half the price of the regular. The chicken teriyaki was heavy on the sauce for me (hence the four stars, good to ask for lighter next time) but it was delicious! The price wasn’t bad either. The seating area is on the smaller and tighter side but it’s a clean restaurant and the server was nice. It has a modest and humble storefront but the quality of the food is great. The parking lot it’s located in – Honda plaza – is free on Sundays but can get packed around lunch time. It’s a nice spot for a less crowded place (Japanese village plaza is more crowded). Overall I had a pleasant experience here — glad I tried them!

Took my white friend from Illinois there that’s never left the state of Illinois until a week ago to have him try his first ramen. He lost his mind. He’s never had anything so flavorful he said. We also made a friend sitting next to us named Gig. Pretty dope place

Men Oh Tokushima Ramen in L.A. is a hidden gem that offers a delightful and authentic ramen experience. Tucked away in the bustling streets of the city, this cozy and unassuming ramen joint has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a comforting and flavorful bowl of noodles.

This is a very small restaurant with not a lot of space but the food is really good there is a bar as well. I got a veggie ramen. With spicy miso ball and garlic on the side I must tell you it really hit the spot. I do have to make one comment is that they serve in a plastic Bowl with a steel plate I am not sure if that signifies something or what is it but other than that the food was amazing.

I was directing a music video and my crew was in need of good food because we had been filming for hours nonstop. I stumbled upon this place thanks to Yelp and I’m so glad we did because the food was great! In addition, it happens to be next door to one of my favorite Matcha joints.

Authentic Japanese food that you can’t beat. I got the shoyu ramen, a pork bowl, and some gyoza. The shoyu ramen had a very tasty light broth that wasn’t so salty that it killed your taste buds, it was perfect and you could sip it without taking a water break. The pork bowl was my favorite, all the ingredients mixed together plus that sweet and savory soy sauce was to die for, also the pork was very tender and made you want more each bite. As for the gyoza it was nice and a very good appetizer if you haven’t eaten anything all day. It wasn’t pricey at all like other shops in the area, so if you want some authentic Japanese flavors definitely check this place out.

No frill ramen restaurant located in Little Tokyo area, with ramen bar seats and some small tables. Tokushima ramen is pork broth based ramen dish from eastern Tokushima Prefecture (Tokushima Soba). I’m used to eating more darker brownish style of Tokushima soup but Men Oh’s soup is more yellowish like Tonkotsu ramen soup. Noodle is medium straight, perfect for this kind of soup. It’s a different style from what I’ve experienced in the past but it’s pretty good. There are parking but even with validation, it is $4/Lunch $6/Dinner. Give it a try if you are in the area. I would park somewhere else though.
