We were celebrating our 20th Anniversary and wanted to celebrate on the 20th floor. Our view was AMAZING!! Customer service was OUTSTANDING!!! My husband had the salmon and was not impressed with it. However, the appearance of it was beautiful! I had the Vegetable bowl which was FABULOUS! Dessert was OUTSTANDING!

Our first time visiting this restaurant in Anchorage and it was awesome! The staff are very nice and attended to all our needs. The food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The restaurant is on the 20th floor of the Captain Hook Hotel and the view is so gorgeous. The prices are what you’d expect for a restaurant like this but definitely worth it. The banana split was the best part of the whole meal. So delicious!!

Enjoyed some wonderful cocktails and a 1/2lb of king crab while taking in the view. Definitely make this a part of your anchorage experience, it’s worth it. Check the menu to make sure it has something you’d eat, though, as it’s not super extensive. It has a good variety but for the price and the wait time you want to be sure it’s worth it for you.

This place is awesome! It appears all tables have a spectacular view of the water front. Our server was Logan, and he was knowledgeable about the menu, and helped guide us through the various options. We started our meal with a couple of cocktails that were very delicious. I tend to favor complex drinks that have different notes, and this Manhattan derivation (can’t remember its name) had this in spades! It was so good I had two! For our starters, we had the oysters and the beef shank! The oysters were great, but for me the star was the beef shank! Who would have known that baked bone marrow could be so good! This was followed by spinach and beet salad for me, and my wife had the King crab bisque. Both were great. The presentation for the bisque was clever! For her birthday, my wife had the King crab! Best part of this fir is it comes already cracked open! No fuss and no mess, just enjoying the best crab ever! I had the black cod, although very tasty and served with nice crunchy skin, it is not King crab! The king crab won that round hands down! Also if they are in season, you must get the fennel head ferns.They are so good! And they grow here in Alaska! Finish off the meal with coffee and dessert! I had the passion fruit tart with a berry sorbet, and my wife had the chamomile Creme Brule with the dark chocolate sorbet! What a great way to finish a great dining experience! Logan was an awesome server, not intrusive and very witty! Kudos to his team as well! Water and drinks never went dry, and I drink like a camel! Criws nest is truly very fine dining in Anchorage! Sorry that my photos don’t do true justice of the food!

Wonderful evening at the Crow’s Nest. Food and service were excellent and a beautiful setting. I had the King Crab and Corn Bisque and then the Salmon with Babaghanoush, Baby Artichoke, Wild Mushrooms and Israeli Couscous. My husband and son both had the Duroc Pork Chop with Roadted Butternut, Burnt Apple, Hazelnuts, Cipollini Onion, Brussel Leaves and Maple and Bourbon Lacquer. Everything was excellent and beautifully presented. My son wanted the Bananas Foster so he and I had that which they prepare tableside and my husband had the blackberry ice cream. Our server Ryan was so friendly and professional. All in all it ranks as a truly exceptional evening and dinner out.

Excellent fine dining restaurant in the Captain Cook hotel in downtown Anchorage Alaska. 10,000 bottles of wine in the cellar. Lots of great food choices for everyone.
