While the bar for McDonald’s in general is pretty low this location still manages to come shockingly short of all minimal expectations. I’m used to double checking my orders because I have yet to meet more than a couple of kids who like both mustard and onions on their burgers, so we have to ‘special order’ every single time and they only get it right about half the time in general. Of course this time they didn’t get it right. No big. Back through the drive thru we go as they won’t even touch it and we’re in a hurry. Pull up they say. Ok, once again…no big. But then they proceed to mess up the order 4 MORE times!!!! 5 times in total, I’m not exaggerating. They could have randomly thrown ingredients on the burger and gotten it right sooner! I’m also fairly certain the manager brought it out herself 3 of the 5 times. I was embarrassed for them and if it hadn’t been a reward that my kid was super excited for I never would have let them try after the second mess up. If I hadn’t been there, I wouldn’t even believe how obviously incompetent this location is.

Watch your total at the drive through. Every time they tell me to pull forward for the amount rather than telling me there at the point of order so I can make sure everything adds up. Then, up to the window, still not sure what I owe, most the time they are either out of receipt paper or supposedly the machine is down. So it’s a game of trust at that point.

06/07/2023 – 1 ordering Kiosk broken, ketchup dispenser out of order, women’s bathroom 1 stall with toilet paper but the lock on the door was broken and swinging loose so could not close the door, the handicap door and lock worked but napkins were set on top of empty TP dispenser. Food served hot and fresh, staff was friendly. Employee went in bathroom wearing their apron! This leaves a lot to be desired even for a quick snack stop. This store is in need of attention in so many areas.

Took my kids to get something to eat today and had a horrible experience, never going to that location again, the guy at the drive thru was so rude, I asked him a simple question if the order had the 10 pcs on there, that was it, and he flipped completely, I really just ignored it because not trying to get argumentative, but I was so offended, he was so rude, didn’t even give me my drink and I was definitely not going back, not going to put my self in a situation like that so just left it even though I paid for it, my kids just looked at me and said what is wrong with him. The North Liberty, Iowa restaurant had lobby music that was so loud the employees couldn’t hear your order and my family couldn’t hear the staff. We had to literally yell our order so the employee could hear us. We asked politely if they could turn the music down a bit and they turned it up. It was so stressful we had to take our food to go. Worst McDonald’s experience we have ever had! More customers came in and were so distraught as well.

The “service” at this place has gone WAY downhill (even for McDs). I couldn’t believe the atrocious service I witnessed – I watched an elderly, disabled woman walk into the lobby (with no one else in the place besides my son and I), she approached the counter and the staff immediately told her to order at the kiosk (quite dismissively and rudely). She struggled to figure it out (they honestly weren’t working well), then approached the counter for help, and waited patiently. Since no on had been staffing the counter the entire time I was there, she waited a while, one person walked by at one point and said “we’ll be with you in a while”, walked away. I approached the counter and flagged someone down, I told them she wasn’t waiting for food, she hadn’t even been able to place an order, they replied:

Was 2nd vehicle in drive throughbat 0903. One car was at the window. Saturday morning. 0903-0921 before I and another car just left. Nothing was done for customer care. Appolgies were given for being short staffed, then sat for 20 minutes. Unreal. Same service same experience and nothing changes.

Staff were nice enough, but I waited 25 minutes because at 9am they didn’t have any biscuits made, and despite telling three separate people my order, I still got the wrong thing. This hasn’t been my experience in the past but recently they have gone downhill.
