This is my newly discovered Indian restaurant. I have been to several Indian restaurants in this region. I would say this is one of the best. The food comes with a big portion and tastes authentic. The Indian chefs working in the kitchen guarantee the authentic flavors of the food served here. I also learned from the waiter that this venue used to be a bank with at least one hundred years history. Check out the interior design, you will feel it is exactly where India meets the West. Highly recommended!

I would give 5 star just for service, morever food was good just that we asked for “Indian spice” level thinking it would not be spicy enough. Food came out actual Indian spicy… nothing wrong with food or restaurant since it was asked by us. Taste was amazing minus the extra spice. Service was so nice that they gave us complimentary desserts at the end. Serving size for price was soooo huge, can easily feed 3 guest per main entree(⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐). Rice is complimentary with entree. They have BYOB. We were helped by ANDREW, (thanks for excellent service).

We love it here. We’ve made a habit of coming here on Friday nights. The Naan is all good, the Chicken 65 and Shrimp 65 appetizers are incredible, I always order a Lamb dish and I love both the Lamb Rogan Josh and the Lamb Tikka Masala. The rice is the best. My GF loves the Paneer Malai which is a cheesy, creamy dream come true.

When me and my family walked into Spicy Afdair. The atmosphere was warming and inviting. We waited about 3 or 4 mins to be seated. Once we was seated two other parties came in after us and was seated and giving menu’s before us it took them 8 mins after they other parties got there menu for us to get ours. We had Andrew as our waiter as I was hoping we did since the reviews I read he was good so I wanted to see for my self how good was he. We explained to Andrew that we waited 8 mins after the other got theirs and this is not looking good so far. He deeply apologized and asked us what would we like to order. We told him this was our first time there, and what would he suggest we try. He gave us his top picks and what customers mostly order.

Went here to celebrate my sister and Father’s birthday. We had a really great time. From the appetizers, our meals, and dessert was a 10 out of 10. And the portions are huge.Andrew our server made our experience that much better. He was like a magician running from table to table, but we still felt attended to.

I love how this place is a converted bank, also They use the old ATM as where to pick up your takeout. This is the 2ed of many more times we will eat here. The food was spicy, flavorful, and hot as I asked for but so good. I put 1/2 away just so I could have some the next day. And the rice is seasoned delightfully& fluffy. Next time, we’ll try dining in.

My wife and I visited Spicy Affair restaurant back in 2018, around when they first opened I believe. The food was good then but now it is really great. As well as the food, the atmosphere is fantastic. I have been to many Indian restaurants in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York states and I can definitively say that this is one of the best.

First and foremost I am no professional food critic. However, the service was impeccable. Not only was the food immaculate but the service was as well. Today (July 20,2022) I dined in at this establishment for the first time ever roughly around 5:50 PM EST and the restaurant is very grand. After being seated I was greeted by my waiter Andrew, who was very polite. I was unsure of what to order and Andrew helped me decide and provided great recommendations. The food was cooked and served efficiently and freshly. As an appetizer my friend and I ordered the vegetarian Samosas, per Andrew’s recommendation, and they were so refreshing and warm. They had just enough spice to not overwhelm you but just enough to satisfy one’s palate. The vegetables inside of the Samosas were so refreshing to eat and felt lightweight. Then we received our entrees, and I was far from disappointed. I ordered the Karahi chicken and my friend ordered the Daal Makhani. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was tender enough so I didn’t have to chew forcefully or strain my jaw. The vegetables inside of the bowl were delicious as well as the oils and curry inside of the bowl with the perfect amount of spice not to overwhelm me. The Daal was refreshing and reminded me of the time I went to Spain and tried gazpacho. If you’ve ever been outside of the U.S. then you’re aware of how refreshing restaurant food is outside of these U.S. walls. This food was good for the soul, it didn’t give me a lack of energy but made me feel warm and comfortable enough to want to take a nap like a new born after a long day of work. Andrew’s service was exceptional and he always made sure that my guest and I were well hydrated as he continuously checked on us to make sure that we were okay. I appreciate his service and I will be coming back to this restaurant.
