So glad they reopened after the Paparazzi renovations……what was it 18 months? Yes, we get lunch often…nice to see the same people. Like the update and the new location is fine. Have had lunch 4 times already. Thanks for reopening.

This is just awesome. The super beef sandwich is like a roast beef cake. The BBQ sauce is spicy. The steak fries are excellent. I am a big guy and I had to take half the food home. Exactly what I hoped for!!!

Oct2022: 3⭐: I have had the opportunity to visit this location twice since my last review and I am not impressed with this restaurant. I just don’t see why locals seem to think it’s worth recommending to someone new to the area. I am not and was not impressed with the varied items I ordered from the restaurant. Each of the items were plain…lacked any discernible taste. I even tried the pizza again and it was lacking for me. My family members are hooked on vegetable pizza. They believe it is a good thing. All I can say is that you visit and judge for yourself. This restroom was also in bad condition with no soap and no paper towels. Eww . This location really deserves a 2⭐. I won’t eat from here again even though my family members order the vegetable pizza once or twice a month.

The food was good enough, but I ordered delivery to Newton-Wellesley Hospital twice, and both times it was delivered to the opposite entrance than I asked them to deliver it to. The driver would not bring it to the entrance that I said I was at, and when I told him that I would meet him at the entrance he was, he drove to the emergency room and dropped it off there, and had them call me (even further away) to let me know that’s where it was. Absolutely unacceptable service, and would not recommend ordering delivery to Newton-Wellesley unless you need to get your exercise for the day in.

I went into Marks yesterday and got a super beef. Nothing on it, sauce on the side. I was a chef for about 5 years with 10 years restaurant experience and really nothing could have prepared me for what I watched when they were prepping my beef. Not only did it take over 10 minutes with absolutely no one in the restaurant, and only two tickets hanging but they absolutely smashed my bun onto the grill and made it flat. I then watched him grab the roast beef with no gloves and make it into a hockey puck. Literally formed the roast beef with no gloves on, barehands into a hockey puck. Absolutely disgusting, it takes two seconds to put on a pair of gloves and two seconds to take them off. I was literally so embarrassed for them I just didn’t say anything. I was so grossed out I brought it home and threw it out. Not to mention by the time I got home it was med well. Not going back

Update 4/24 got roast beef (super) some fries and jalapeño poppers Food is definitely gone downhill. Was 5 stars now 2 ended up throwing out half of my 30+ dollar meal.

Ordered the Fishman’s Platter, shrimp scallops and haddock. I got the order with no scallops. Next time someone order’s a $27 plate from a sub shop you should probably let them know that you don’t have all of the ingredients for your highest priced item. A courtesy phone call would have helped. Your last line of defense was the delivery driver who said nothing but was happy to take my $20 tip without saying thank you. Seems like odd etiquette for a restaurant to practice. Oh well, you won’t get anymore of my money.

Really like this place but last 2 times I ordered online my food came extremely late, cold, and over cooked. I’m not happy. When I call to ask where is my food. They said it’s on the way and sorry, and arrived cold.
