Nice place if you have a taste for seafood and are feeling nostalgic. My boyfriend’s parents took me out to eat here. I had the backed haddock with homemade beans. The food was decent, the service was excellent but the prices were about 25-35% higher then they should be given the quality, atmosphere, presentation and quantity. The place looks the same as when I was a kid and probably hasn’t been updated since my parents were kids ha ha.

Thank you for existing and for sitting us at 9:04pm. Amazing experience if you’re a lobster lover like me. Hand-pick your lobster and their weight, and it cooked to your liking. Their sides were good, but I couldn’t get to them with a 3.5lbs lobster in front of me.

Great place to visit for a nice dinner! The wait time on Saturday evening is about 20-30 minutes and totally worth it! It has great outdoor area to sit and for children to play on the green while waiting. We had lobster bisque, lobster tail dinner and baked scallops. They have full bar, with good list for wine choices. Everything was delicious and our server was great! She was good at recommending good wine to go with our dinner, and gave great suggestions for kids menu. This is family friendly place with full kids menu. Both our children liked their meal.

This place sits right on the water (estuary) at Oginquit Beach. Great views of the estuary and we had a great sunset.

Went here for our anniversary dinner. Got there before they opened at 4:30, from the reviews the wait can be long.

So , for $170 for two people one would expect an excellent meal. What we got were two lobsters ( ordered big ones… our mistake) that smelled funny, and were tasteless when eaten. Thank goodness for the butter, but good lobster shouldn’t need butter. These lobsters were clearly ‘old’ and have been sitting in a tank for way too long. The steamers were passable . I think the water they are using needs to be changed. We were not disappointed when we ran out of them. The green beans were ok. The baked beans lacking taste. The bread rolls were the best thing we had in the meal. Have not ate the salad or Cole slaw yet, bringing them home. Hubby can take them to work for lunch. I have gone there for decades. I can say this is it. The last time was not as bad( hubby was questioning back then whether to return) , but this took the cake. We are at another restaurant right now getting some French fries to try to wash out the taste in our mouths…. Disgusting and now on my list of one of the worst meals I have had in my life. Sad as decades ago they were wonderful! Been on a steady decline over the years. On a gorgeous day , no outdoor seating … picnic tables stacked in the back. Oh the memories of wonderful food sitting on the picnic tables . I will try to hold on to those fond memories and not the most recent memory. Yucky. I pray that I only am going to pay for this meal in one way… if you get my drift. We should have not eaten the food, but I think we just kept hoping the next bite would be better, but it never was.

Had a great meal here. My wife and I were searching for a local lobster place and the Ogunquit lobster pound did not disappoint. Beautiful spot tucked under some old growth trees makes it feel like a cabin in the woods. Loved being able to pick out our own lobsters which was a fun experience and food was amazing. Even we’re able to grab some lobster stuffed animals for the kids. Overall, excellent!
