Our server was great. Our appetizer and cocktails were very good. The sides on both of our entrees were very good, but we both felt the meat was lacking in both quality and taste. Desert was amazing. Our entrees took forever to arrive at our table. The couple beside us, who arrived long after us, received their food at least fifteen minutes before ours arrived.

We live about an hour away and drove to Sargasso to meet friends from Morgantown. The food was great, I had the pork chop and my wife had the crab cakes. We also had some charcutier and cheese boards for appetizers. There was 7 of us and we also enjoyed some very good red wine. Along those lines, they had a very nice wine selection to choose from. Our waiter, Jack, did a fantastic job. He was very attentive and despite having a rambunctious group, he didn’t make a single mistake. Definitely recommend.

Every time I go eat here, I think I’ve had my best meal, drink, soup, dessert, etc, to just go back in and be wowed all over again. It’s literally my favorite place to eat in Morgantown and one of two spots I frequent. I’m done exploring the food scene here. Most restaurants are venues that serve food that want to make a buck with some gimmick. This place is foodie heaven, and I’m so so so so glad I tried it out one random Monday lunch. The staff are also great! They are friendly and knowledgeable and treat you like you’re the only guest in the building. Absolutely zero complaints from me.

Visiting from out of state and a friend recommended Sargasso. The first look at the menu and I was ready to leave due to lack of choices. The choices offered looked good so decided to stay. Glad we did. Ordered the special of the night-linguini with pesto sauce. Husband had the chicken. We both said first bite was amazing! Full of flavor. Meals prepared by one chef. Friend says he goes there because of the chef. We now know why. Prices are a little high but wow, what a great place for date night or anything special. What a treat.

Arrived 10 minutes late to our reservation but no issues.We had a party of 8 with toddler. Waitress was good, attentive and friendly. Due to being short staffed, took over hour for entree to be delivered. Food was delicious! Very pricy but we knew that going in. 7.9 out of 10 on overall delivery of experience. I would def go again. (My scale is not an easy one)
