Worst service experienced. I ordered food on the app, they noticed me waiting and told me it will be 15 minutes until they receive the order via the app. After a few minutes waiting I returned to the counter to ask if they could cancel my order as I couldn’t wait that long plus cook time, they wouldn’t. I asked if they could start the order as I had the confirmation of order on the app and payment receipt, again declined to help. I queried how this was happening as I ordered on their own app, not a third party etc. literally no interest in helping or offering any service whatsoever.

The food was awesome. I only gave it three stars for service because there really wasn’t any. You take the order from a kiosk and they just call your name. For atmosphere, they place is not the cleanest but it will do. Pretty plane. My shoes would stick to the floor by the kiosk but slip by the soda, haha. The rest seem fairly “clean” though. I will definitely go back though.

I’ve never had a Steak ‘n Shake until today. Five guys didn’t open until 11:00 and we were hungry after flying a small plane for a few hours on a very hot morning. Our Uber driver Robert suggested we try it. We offered to buy Robert an early lunch and he accepted.

I ordered the double cheeseburger with fries..It was very good. They could only except cash due to the storm. I had to pay with coins. The employee working drive-thru was exceptionally nice and polite! Keep up the Great Service!

This place got rid of it’s servers apparently. Now you order on a kiosk and just sit wherever you want. They ask you for a tip on the kiosk for the “service.” Every table was absolutely filthy. I asked for something to clean the table with and the cook told me where the napkins were. No sanitizer. No cleaner of any kind. The floor was sticky. But hey. At least the food was great. The shakes took a while to come out but they were good. I’m so very disappointed because I love steak n shake. It’s my favorite fast food place around to get a quick yummy meal when I’m busy with work.

I came in to pick up and order the other day and the staff was so nice. Acknowledged me and made sure everything was hot and ready to go in just a few minutes. The place was clean inside and as you drove up as well. You just don’t see that from most chains.

Burger and fries were great! 4 stars because only 2 booths had customers (the only people in their), and the rest were dirty, including some tables. Someone should be on top of cleaning tables as customers leave.

Visited S&S yesterday after not being there for a long time. It’s changed quite a lot. You order from a kiosks instead of a real person. The store seems a lot cleaner. Sad there are no more servers. You order and pick it up when your names called. Guess they are trying to save money. The food is still great, just have to get used to the modern service.
