TradeWinds Italian Restaurant has been a part of the Niceville community since 1996! Tom D’Eufemia laid the groundwork back in 1996 when he purchased the existing “TradeWinds Restaurant.” The original restaurant served pizza & sandwiches and sold home beer brewer’s supply. Tom’s passion for food, wine and socializing snowballed over the years into what TradeWinds Restaurant is today. With Tom’s passing in 2014 we were all left with a void that would never be filled. The team at TradeWinds continued Tom’s legacy and the restaurant has continued to thrive and serve the community we all love.

I have only been to TradeWinds a few times but every time I left satisfied and happy. It has very close seating and some might not enjoy that but its something I like, makes it feel cozy and like you were at a family members house. Portions were generous and of course the food was delicious. Will be going back again soon.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! Have lived in Crestview for about 5 years and I’ve just recently heard about this place. We are always trying to find local places with great service and cuisine. Tradewinds by FAR exceeded all expectations! Our server Shelly was attentive and super friendly. The prices for the amount of food you get are crazy (in a good way!). VERY reasonable prices for scrumptiously big portions of food. Any of the dishes can be easily split between two people for a full meal (to include the HUGE bruschetta!). I ordered the veal piccata and my son ordered the seafood special (shrimp in a vodka sauce with pene pasta). Both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I was very happy to have a cut of veal instead of a mincemeat patty like a lot of restaurants use. Then we had to try their tiramisu. Oh WOW!! Y’all, if you haven’t tried this place you NEED to make a reservation and get in! I cannot wait to try everything on their menu!

I don’t normally have Italian food out because we make it the way we were raised and it’s hard to find anything better. I was with a group that wanted to go so I went. I ordered the “Tom’s Pasta” and it was very good. The portions are huge and the bread and olive oil was also top notch. I will probably make a point of going there again the next time I’m in town. (that’s high praise)

The place is a shack, but often shacks have the best food. Seafood pasta bowl was excellent, as was the veal picatta. Parking is a bit limited and the chairs leave a bit to be desired. The food was great.

This place is a hidden little gem. We didn’t have reservations but there were two seats available at the bar. The host kindly seated us and we enjoyed what may be the best meal we’ve had together. We had never been here before, but we will certainly be back. Christian was a wonderful server and attended to all of our needs flawlessly. The kitchen staff even acknowledged us as we were leaving and thank us for coming in. The benefit of sitting at the bar was that we got to see all of the delicious food coming out of the kitchen. Their kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine! Can’t wait to try something else from their delicious menu!

I want to congratulate you for reading this review because it will take you to the #1 restaurant in town, hands down, no questions asked. We are locals and have been coming to Tradewinds for quite a few years now. It has been a long time coming for us to take a breather and leave them this well deserved review. From the moment we call to make the reservation, they treat us as family. They already know who we are and the table we prefer and do their best to accommodate us. We are self-appointed foodies, having eaten in hundredths of restaurants across the U.S and Puerto Rico. By far, Tradewinds always happens to deliver the most memorable experience for us. With a different take in their featured plates daily, surprise will be a factor you’ll experience each visit. The mussels are an exceptional favorite and their bistecca plate will leave you wondering if you’ve actually tasted real steak before. The pizzas are mouthwatering and pretty much every plate in their repertoire is a win. The service is beyond 5-star in my honest opinion. The warmth and authenticity of each employee is the pinnacle of southern hospitality. Every single employee greets us throughout our dining experience, going out of their way to make us feel welcome each visit. You can’t find this anywhere else around here. Please, do not think twice — if you are lucky to get a reservation, head on over to Tradewinds as soon as you can.

Just had one of the best service experiences of my life at Tradewinds. Christian was attentive, but not overly so; knowledgeable about the menu; and made sure to review everyone’s order before leaving the table!! Superb.

What an amazing place to eat. Absolutely everything I had was delicious. The only thing that I have to say could be improved is the size of the parking is horrible. It is absolutely worth squeezing into a parking spot to enjoy amazing food and a staff that actually cares. Love this place and I will definitely be returning.
