At our Kansas City, MO location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Terrible food! How do you have a good coincidence to serve a freaking fish sandwich on a stale bun? Or old chewy fries? Was not even busy this afternoon when I ordered. Thanks for missing up a guys lunch at work. I hope whoever made this simple sandwich gets the worse food ever one day from a restaurant! Totally unacceptable and have made it where it will be a long time before I come back! Lady at drive thru was nice and made sure order was right but food ruined by a old stale bun and fries!

Terrible service! My mother went to this location yesterday evening. She ordered oysters, was then charged for both oysters and catfish. The oysters she was given looked like prunes. She tried to then go back for a refund and was told she could not have a refund nor would they give her a new order. She did not get what she ordered she should have been at the very least given another order of food even though she didn’t even want the catfish! She was also told that they could not give her the corporate number nor would they call the manager. She tried to go back today and was told she could not be given a refund because the receipt had expired. What in the world does that even mean!? Definitely will not ever get our business again!

Ordered the deluxe plate and another menu item by itself at the drive thru. My order was incomplete. Food was barely edible and fries were soggy. Steer clear from this location. I had ordered from other Captain D’s before and even after a long wait the food was outstanding. I believe this location serves food to customers that settle for the lowest food quality and service. If you could please…shop around!!!!

Went to place our order at the drive thru. Ordered quantity of 2 3 piece fish dinner & extra order of hush pupies. Order taker repeats it back as 3 orders of 2 piece fish dinner. What??? So we repeat the order. Now she repeats it back as 2 piece dinner with a double order of fries. What??? We just drove off.
