This is a fantastic spot to pop into for some quick eats. The Unagi Don was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The egg was cooked perfectly and the rice crisped up nicely in the hot clay bowl. The house Nigori was tasty and paired well. This place is casual and a good spot to hang out, talk, and drink!

Tried coming at 11pm on a Sunday and it was packed. Came back the next day for dinner. It was fantastic. Highly recommend the house beer (lychee) or the soju cocktail. We had the duck breast, nigiri sampler, fiery waygu & yakitori. All worth coming the next day

The food here looks good but the taste is just okay. The beef tongue skewers are very good though -tender and tasty. The wagyu ramen is quite disappointing. The unagi don is also not as I thought it would be. Overall is 2.5* for me

Duck breast are cooked perfectly. Salmon teriyaki has great char from the grill and its tasty, its just missing more teriyaki sauce. Sushi is tasty but I wish the rolls weren’t so big. Its hard to bite it in half and its even harder to fit it in your mouth when they are whole.

There was about 40 minutes wait for a table on a busy Pride weekend evening. They turned the tables incredibly quickly. Servers were patient and the chairs were comfy. I loved the placement of one billion bowls of candy around. The lighting was gentle and even busy the volume wasn’t overwhelming.

Some delay to being seated and delay from menu to order, but very fast delivery of food from time of order. It was busy with a single server working as fast as they could, it was not for lack of effort. Dishes arrived hot when they should be hot and just at the completion of the dish that was brought before.
