Not our first time there, and there’s a reason! This quaint little hidden gem in the Aliante Hotel & Casino is definitely a place to check out! If you love Italian food you’ll enjoy a meal here. They provide focaccia bread with an array of flavoured butter, garlic & sun dried tomato plus olive oil. Don’t miss out on this even if you’re counting carbs… a taste of this is worth it! My personal favorite is the pasta carbonara… They definitely do not skimp on the pancetta… Absolutely delicious! If you’re a local you likely know about this place! If you’re visiting off strip this is worth the stop!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this place. While the food was alright, and since I’m no expert on chicken picata, I can only judge them based on the staff. Our server was named Chris and he was also the bartender. Very rarely lately do we go to a restaurant and the staff is seemingly happy to be there. He managed not only work the bar but also wait on the tables. He was quick witted, attentive and also the entertainment. He serenaded us with many 90s RNB classics, which we enjoyed thouroughly.

I tried this place for the first time today, not really knowing what to expect from the reviews. It was amazing. I ordered my old standby, chicken parmesan, but lately I’ve been subbing the spaghetti with the pasta with olive oil and garlic and couldn’t be happier with the dish. It was delicious. My wife ordered the salmon and it was awesome as well. Always one to love cocktails, we tried the mojito and the twisted cosmopolitan, both of which I would highly recommend. For dessert we had their housemade tiramisu, another delight. The prices are surprisingly low, the location is beautiful, and the service was top notch. Our server Rob, was quick and made very convincing recommendations.

Go elsewhere. Food was average and the service was terrible. I asked the server 3 times for my drink. Then we had to ask another 3 times for menus and to top it off, she never took the check. We finally got the hostess and 25 minutes later the check was finally paid!! No apologies or anything. We’ll never be back

This place is a gem and needs to be on your dinner rotation! I recently had a business dinner at Bistro 57 with 13 colleagues and friends. The original reservation was for 10, it grew to 13; however, Bistro 57 was able to make it work with three other parties that night. The drinks and meal were delicious. The first course was outstanding featuring calamari, fried mozzarella, and salads. The main course was just as delicious – well done Chef! The star of the night was Rebecca E,was our server. She was FANTASTIC – she smoothly and quickly took our orders, chatted up the everyone during the meal which made the evening even better. Rebecca’s warmth and hospitality is world class and I’m looking forward to my next visit to Bistro 57.

On Sunday Dec 8 we had my birthday party at Bistro 57. 8 of us had a great meal and a wonderful time. Jamie and Vanessa took such good care of us. I had the veal chop and it was by far the best and biggest I’ve ever had. Everyone loved their meals.

We did not have a chance to post this review due to a family emergency. But we dined here the day after Thanksgiving, Nov 26. My wife and I were looking forward to trying out this new Italian restaurant, Bistro 57. The ambiance was nice; however, the food was not up to our expectations. After seating us at our table, a basket of bread was brought to us, which was very good. My wife ordered the Seafood Fra Diavolo which, on the menu, states that it includes shrimp, clams, and crab as the seafood. When the entree arrived, my wife could see the clam shells, 3 large shrimp, and a lot of linguine. The waitress never asked if she wanted any parmesan cheese grated over her meal, which was disappointing, as all Italian restaurants (even Olive Garden) will ask if you would like some parmesan cheese grated over your meal. Please inform Bistro 57 of this small, but very important detail, as the parmesan cheese truly completes the meal. Secondly, the bread basket was empty, as you could clearly see, but the waitress never asked if we wanted any more bread. And so my wife began eating her entree. She said to me that the clams were so incredibly small, that she couldn’t even taste them. We understand that the small clams are no fault of the restaurant; however, she didn’t find any crab in her meal whatsoever. She told me that the only ingredients that she saw and tasted in her entree were the 3 shrimp, the small clams, and a load of linguine, which was very disappointing to her. She is Italian and was expecting to have a bounty of seafood included with the linguine, especially considering the $28 price point. Also, the waitress didn’t check on us until we were almost completely finished with our meals. Normally speaking, the waiter or waitress should check on the customer at least mid-point of the meal. At that point, he or she would clearly see that the bread basket was empty and would offer more bread! As for my dinner order, I too found my linguine & clams entree underwhelming. I’m sorry to say, but we won’t be returning to Bistro 57.
