Overall, it was a great experience at Sagaponack. This was my first time there, and it won’t be the last. The hospitality was much appreciated from trying out different bar snacks that were offered, such as the plantain chips and honey/seasoned popcorn and the calamari.

My friend randomly selected this restaurant as it was close in proximity to where we work. I’ll be honest with you, the service great! Kueng was an exceptional host and his recommendations were spot on. I’m very big on service and experience at restaurants and I believe the choice of music is key to creating that all round experience. 5 out of 5 for sure with the music taste of the restaurant.

Sleeper restaurant with very solid seafood! Love the fluke tartare with tobiko and coconut sauce and the dressed oysters. Also the shoyu butter rice that comes with the salmon is very addictive. They do large format specials as well, like paella on the weekends. The Thai iced tea cake is a great way to end.

The staff was very attentive and the food presentation was out of this world. The dressed up oysters are a MUST! Get the trio. The Ricotta Cavatelli was so pillowy soft and creamy. Very good dish. The Thai milk cake was a take on a tres Leches that didn’t disappoint. The surprise pieces of pineapple were a pleasant addition. Can’t wait to go back to try the other trio of oysters.

The roasted oysters tasted much better than the raw ones. I like the risotto with shrimp the most. It is well made with rich flavors, perfect bite and interesting texture with shrimp cream bacon. The cod was quite disappointing with not much flavor and it didn’t go well with the cold salad. Not sure why it’s recommended to take them together, the salad just didn’t match the cod from temperature to texture to flavor. The dessert was too sweet with more sugary flavor than thai tea flavor.

Stopped by this place for a late lunch while running errands on a Saturday. I couldn’t have found a more perfect place. The food is high quality and the restaurant is a cozy local NY experience. All ingredients were fresh. I enjoyed the oysters and chicken bites (so good I forgot to take a pic) especially.

Went there with a few friends of mine during NYC restaurant week and we were all thoroughly impressed by every element of this restaurant. Food itself was divine, from start to finish. There wasn’t a single dish that we didn’t like and we felt like the chef really put a lot of thought into the balance of each dish. I personally was a big fan of the salmon crudo, which was this fatty salmon yummy goodness. Staff were incredibly nice and attentive–just true professionals all around. We will come back to try other menu items for sure!

Had a great lunch here the other day! The gambas al ajillo here is amazing! I’ve lived in Spain and this is up there with some of the best I’ve ever had. I also had the crab roll for lunch, pictured here, which was delicious. Plenty of space at lunch. Good soundtrack too. Would like to come back at dinner and check the vibe. The staff was friendly, polite, and let us dine at our own pace. Will definitely go back.
