Jayna Gyro is a fast-casual restaurant with grab-and-go options, in addition to made-to-order menu items at approachable prices for the locals and tourists who flock to the busy Market. The menu features culturally inspired Mediterranean cuisine deeply rooted in Greek and Turkish traditions. One of our signature items, the chickpea pita for example, is a nostalgic dish from the owner’s childhood while growing up in Gaziantep. Other menu items include chicken Gyros, beef Gyros, and their signature Greek salad along with the traditional appetizers and accompaniments you would expect, from Dolmades and Spanakopita to Hummus and Tzatziki. Everything will be made fresh daily, including all of the meats using an on-site Gyro broiler.

Super fresh food!! And not heavily salty which is absolutely rare these days. Finished my salad + gyro bowl feeling very full and satisfied without being weighed down. This place is definitely a new favorite for me!!

Fresh & fast, good sized portions. Tasty gyro. The Greek fries are actually fried potatoes. The seasoning is excellent, might be some of the best I’ve ever had.

I went to this spot with a friend. The pita was filled and it was yummy! I liked that it still felt “healthy” despite all of the food. The “fries” are cut potato wedges. Very yummy. Had spots to sit outside.

This place has the best Chicken Pita I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. All of the ingredients are super fresh. I literally come here once a week to get it. 10/10

We got the dip trio and it was alright. Pita bread was good but the hummus was dry and felt a bit old

I almost didn’t write this review because I don’t want one of my favorite spots to get too crowded…. But the food is too delicious to not let others know! Jayna Gyro has the best Greek food I’ve had in the Bay Area. Everything is bursting with flavor—from their packed gyros, to their loaded fries, to their fresh and rich baklava, Jayna Gyro does not miss.

Food was delicious. Got the lamb burger and it took 20 minutes before it was ready. Usually that would be fine, but when the rest of the people I was with were finished with their food before i even received mine… Didn’t really work for the environment

Not bad. I completely ate my gyro and enjoyed it. Not really authentic of the gyros I’ve been eating since my first one in NYC in the 1970’s. The meat instead of nice juicy thick slices were more small, match stick-like in size and overly crispy. Good but not typical for gyros I’ve eaten. Completely different mouth-feel. Also the pita was served flat and open with the pita on the bottom and overfilled on the plate in a way that you could not pick it up and eat it like you would a typical gyro. So at first it was picking pieces of meat, onion, lettuce, etc with a fork like I was eating a meaty salad. Then about halfway through I could pick up and roll the pita and eat it like I usually eat gyros. Like I said, not bad and it was not bad but I will not be going here again when I crave a good gyro as it’s not how I like my gyros.
