My food was made fresh and brought out to my table in a timely manner. I have always been a fan of LJS, I just wish they hadn’t closed down so many of the locations. I have to drive about 45 minutes eat there now. This location is a bit dumpy and could sure use remodeling, but the food is still good. The fact that it hasn’t been remodeled, has me worried that it might be slated for closing too, I hope not.

Really bad service the manger went back and forth with me and my family about an order they messed up. We ordered three platters and one meal. Note it was not the cashier’s fault, he was very polite thoughout our whole ordeal. The manger first came over when there was a payment issue – we wanted to pay two ways. That’s over we sat and waited for our food. As I’m waiting the smell came to me and it was not lovely at all (Smelled like old grease). Our food come out we asked for bags to separate our order. We see there’s only 2 platters and two meals. The manger comes out says we only got wrung up for two platters. No problem mistakes happen. I get back in line to pay for a platter (they forgot mine). I’m waiting with only one customer in front of me. I never even get to order my platter when my cousin come and say they don’t have the chicken, it was all fish. The manger then told her yes there is chicken and we switch it!?! Wow!!! She yet again took our food opened it at the register to show us where we were wrong. At that point with all the back and forth, and opening, and closing of our food we didn’t want it anymore. She refused to give her name but we did get that manger overseer number and called. We didn’t want any free food no, no, no, we wanted to have better customer service and to let her manger know. To the couple who go there often, that told us that happen to them every time they come. I would advise you to report them when they’re doing the same thing they did to us. Customer service is for customers and it seems as customers we need to see it enforced. I will never go back to that establishment and would not advise anyone I like to go there either.

It’s fine. But there’s a reason the parking lot is always deserted. It’s relatively cheap, greasy fish. If that’s what you’re in the mood for, you won’t get a better bang for your buck and it definitely tastes delicious. That said, there’s always a bit of me that questions my decisions as the employees always look depressed and the whole building is very old and not very well maintained. Overall, though, it’s pretty good. Sometimes I’m in the mood for gross food. I go to LJS.

Had not been here for awhile. Son likes fish and chicken. Saw the coupons and thought would be good. Jennifer, the manager ,changed that idea. Knew when she gave total it was wrong. She rudely kept repeating it was right and when she went to show me the discounts saw it was wrong. She then tried to make excuses and gave us a bad time. We won’t be back. I should have read the reviews where she has been rude before- clearly ownership is fine with this.

We just stopped through the drive thru less than an hour ago. Robert Mendez was our cashier and let me tell you, he made our experience so great there. It’s not often that we stop there, but when we get the chance to we do. He has such a great personality and is so friendly. He made this experience so wonderful. I had asked if his name was on our receipt just so that I could write this review. He told me unfortunately not, but it was because he came in on his day off. So I asked him his name and I put it in my phone just to make sure that he got the recognition that he so wonderfully deserved. Thank you Robert. Your customer service skills are impeccable.
