Enormous wine selection. The food was excellent here and was perfect for a nice summer dinner. We heard great things about the pork chop here, and had to try some. We also tried the recommendations of our waiter, who was professional and offered some excellent suggestions. I think we’ll be back soon, and would recommend this to others looking for an intimate setting date night location.

I enjoyed it. Never had Lamb before the Rack if Lamb was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever had. My wife had the Salmon she liked it. But I also don’t just eat at fancy places like this. It’s pretty expensive. If you’re looking for a bottle of wine the got from $20 to $9,000 I’m not an alcohol fan. Pretty quick food service. And honestly I think I’m just not fancy enough to truly enjoy the cuisine. I’d still come back

JJ’s is just a wonderful social/dining venue. A classic, but not stuffy atmosphere for meeting friends, old and new in the bar or having an amazing dinner in the restaurant. Food and wine options never disappoint -always top notch! A “must visit” when in KC.

Amazing food and our server was awesome. Appetizers were very tasty and the baked brie with honey was amazing. Could eat that every day. Onion soup was very good, not bitter, and had a great sweet-ish taste. Steak was perfectly done as requested. The lemoncello cake was sooooo good. Everything was great when reheated for dinner the next night!

The mussels were delicious and I would definitely order them again. I was a little worried that the curry would completely overtake the dish, but the sauce was smooth and light and complemented the mussels.

One of our favorite places. The food is consistently good here. The bar tenders make the best drinks. The bacon wrapped shrimp is a must. Outdoor seating is a must when its nice out. Large area outside to gather. The owners are there quite a bit to make sure the experience is personal. We usually get the steaks a salad and drinks. The carrot cake is our favorite for dessert.

Went for date night and really enjoyed our dining experience. We started at the bar for re meal drinks. JJs has a great variety to choose from, and the bartender was knowledgeable and attentive. Then we moved outside for dinner. The food and service were generally great. My date didn’t like his swordfish, and my carrot cake was dry and tasted like a bad grocery store version. Otherwise, the food was delicious. The ambiance must be mentioned cause it was so nice and added to the success of evening. I definitely recommend JJs for date night!

Absolutely the best overall restaurant in Kansas City. Eclectic tastes from seafood to steaks. Appetizers are each a work of culinary expertise and the chef and kitchen staff deserve a round of applause. Small plates and regular entrees available. Staff was extremely knowledgeable and provided outstanding service. It is expensive but you will get an equal or in our case higher level of service. A true experience that everyone should have the chance to experience + a superb wine selection.
