I was meeting a good friend I had not seen in a long time. The hostess seated us in a side room that was very loud when I spoke with the manager and explained the situation. He was able to seat us in a much better table. Our server was outstanding . The food was very good , I had a griddlecake( pancake) with banana and Nutella. It was huge , I would say there is no need to order extras ( banana and Nutella, etc) it was $2.00 extra and did not add a lot to the taste , it was just a big pancake with a fancy name , next time I would not order this . I also ordered a candied bacon , it was hotter than I wanted. The place was nice , water carafes on the table , flowers . Very high ceilings , good and bad , it felt more open , but it made it loud ,depending on where you were seated.

We’ve been to this location a few times. There’s another location off I-10 near Memorial Mall. We showed up on a Friday afternoon after doing some shopping. Place was not too busy. We had a frozen margarita and beer to drink. The service was a bit slow but not terrible. The frozen margarita was really good and my beer was nice and cold. To start we had the guacamole and queso with chips which was good. The queso was nice and hot with good flavor. The guacamole was fresh as well. I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich which was HUGE! It was too big to be honest. I had to remove a few of the chicken tenders so I could eat it. I thought it was going to be like a chicken breast fillet. I really should have asked. Once I took the sandwich apart it was actually really good. My girlfriend had the salmon elote which she said was really good as well. Parking is not great at this location and remember that the portions are huge!

The ambiance is nice and fun. My old fashioned was great, it was cinnamon smoked (could have smoked it a little longer). Food was great, the Brussel sprouts and crab cakes needed some seasoning (cakes were breaded more than I’d prefer). Very nice staff and bar tender, slower service during mid afternoon.

Pretty good! Went for the chicken and waffles – but unfortunately they did not have them. Apparently it’s only on the weekends for brunch. But I was not that disappointed with the chicken sandwich. Their ranch was also very distinctive and had me wanting more!

We came for an early weekday lunch and had great service. The restaurant was quiet, and we received our order fairly quickly. The food I’ve ordered has always been tasty, but the fried catfish and shrimp are my favorites.

I’ve always wanted to try Stae Fare, but wasn’t impressed. I went for brunch and it wasn’t anything special. I got the biscuit chicken sandwich and the biscuit was good, but the chicken was bland. It was fried perfectly, but lacking flavor. It came with a side of hashbrowns that were soft on the inside. They seemed to be undercooked.

This was my second visit, and there was not much improvement from my first visit in March. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but we waited nearly 20 minutes for a server to come to the table. ( The same thing happened in March) The frito pie was scorched (see photo). However, the other food items were fine.

4.5 food was really good. Best chicken fried steak I’ve had. Jalapeño Hush puppies were also really good, they looked burnt on the outside but they tasted great. Burger was good too. And the sides. The only reason not giving a 5 because service was a little slow, but no bad.

THE WORST food in sugar land. Overall, the food had ZERO flavor. The service wasn’t great either. Jayla told us the juice was freshly squeezed, but it definitely wasn’t. When we arrived, the hostess tried to seat us in the music area where it was completely empty. Maybe because we had two children? I would recommend to eat here if you’re diabetic or on a heart healthy diet because there is definitely no salt used and the jam tastes like a flavorless spread. Biscuits taste like cardboard and avocado is way too sour from the lemon.
