Really excellent Peruvian restaurant! Will be back to sample more of the menu. We actually didn’t get the ceviche (wanted to sample other dishes). But what I can say is that the seafood and land food are great! My sangria was tasty, too!

This hidden gem is absolutely amazing! The ceviche was outstanding, fresh and healthy! The yucca was delicious (ask for the spicy sauce to give it an extra kick) Espresso coffee with the gingersnap cookie was a perfect end to a wonderful meal!! my new favorite restaurant in Tallahassee!

First visit and will definitely be back to try more. My only issue was how slow the service was to begin with. We were seated promptly outside, the outdoor patio is super cute and covered and we were luckily seated in front of a fan. But it seemed like there may have been some disconnect between being seated and getting a server because we had to go in and ask for waters after quite a long wait. There was another couple outside that were finished and waiting for their bill and one of them ended up going inside to pay after a wait which prompted us to go inside to remind them we were outside as well. Once we finally got a server everything went smoothly. The food was excellent. We tried 3 appetizers and all were delicious. Tried the fried yucca (I’ve never had the cheese sauce before and it was great), the causa with fried fish (those mashed potatoes are magic), and the spring rolls which were my partners choice and while it’s not what I would have ordered I was very happy we did.

We really enjoyed our dinner date at Cafe de Martin. The atmosphere makes you feel like you could be in a South American country with a lovely patio that stretches from the front all along the side of the building. Happy hour lasts from 4pm to 6pm, so we got a delicious drink with mezcal that made it sweet and smoky. If I could remember the name, I would surely recommend it. The food is delicious and somewhat exotic. The wait staff are attentive, informative and work hard to make the customer happy.

Food was good. Eating area is small, decor was good. Staff was very pleasant. Our server got the meats mixed up with each others choice of bread and sauce on our sandwiches. We didn’t realize until we had taken a bite, so we just switched our remaining halves. Both sandwiches were tasty. The restaurant was very busy at lunchtime. I would visit again and I do recommend giving them a try.

I studied at la PUCP in Lima for a semester, and let me tell you- tonight’s meal took me back ❤️. I’ve been hesitant to try this place, as I get so excited about Peruvian food, but now I regret not coming earlier. We started with their Chicha Morada (a delicious non-alcoholic drink), then we had the causa with ceviche , the lomo saltado & tallarines verdes, with a pisco sour & chilcano to finish. The service was great, the food had incredible flavor, and the atmosphere is so nice- the only thing missing was some lucuma ice cream (which I’ve never seen stateside ‍♀️). We’ll definitely be back!

What a gem. Delicious lunch with my parents today. I had the Ceviche de la casa and they had the lunch special smoked chicken Sammy. Both excellent. We will be back.

As a lover of food that bursts with flavor and dimension, I must say the Peruvians have “soul!” The Asado se Res tastes like Grandma’s pot roast! The classic tres leches was perfect! Service was prompt and professional! I will be back.

I am not sure who I need to hug & kiss in order to thank them for bringing Peruvian food to Tallahassee, but they deserve my big fat smooch.
