Per a referral from Shelly the owner’s friend, Alan, we stopped in for lunch. Delish! We enjoyed conversing with the staff while the food was being prepared. Very nice portions; I’m full !! The vibe is also on point for a vegas-style, happening restaurant. All around great experience, including the banner signs to help me find it 🙂

Nice little spot for ramen. Clean, quiet bar stools to eat or option for carry out, dine outside tent. I ordered the miso ramen, was not quite hot like it sat for a bit but it was ok. The potstickers were good. Liked the flavor. They also sell kombucha in many great flavors. Will go there again and make sure my ramen is hot and not warm.

A perfect experience and a perfect bowl of ramen. I had the yuzu ramen with citrus oil and it was aammaazziinnggg. The broth was so bright and refreshing, and the noodles were cooked exactly to perfection. My partner had the black garlic ramen which had a super super garlicky taste and had a rich creamy texture and was very comforting. We also had the spicy beef bao buns which were so fluffy and yummy and wonderful (and not very spicy at all, just a tiny bit). We met friends and they got the bento boxes, which also looked like a great dinner or lunch choice. They have bar-style seating inside and covered picnic tables outside, and mama bears kombucha on tap and in bottles. The wait staff was also super nice and friendly, and tied the whole experience together to be one of the best. We’ll definitely be back! Don’t be dissuaded by the industrial location, it’s well worth it.

A hole-in-the-wall experience. Don’t be jarred by it’s location. Friendly and welcoming experience in this ramen shop. Kombucha being sold here was also a nice surprise. Onigiri is good with the seaweed protective wrapper.

We ordered vegan dumplings and chicken miso ramen. Vegan dumplings were good. Ramen wasn’t impressive at all. Bland food. Noodles weren’t cooked well. There isn’t any water to drink or sauce to add to your ramen. You can ask for spicy sauce. The store looks nice from inside. Not gonna recommend to anyone.

I have been looking forward to coming to this place for a very long time. The menu looked great and especially because they offer vegan options. I ordered the Miso Ramen (tofu substitute, no meat, no egg and no fish cake) and it came looking like the picture attached. Literally half a block of tofu and half cooked ramen (raw from the inside) and some spring onions. Although Ramen is not traditionally made to be vegetarian, restaurants will usually add veggies like corn, bok choy etc to fill the bowl up.

Mmm… OISHI! ☺️ Their cakes were so light, fluffy, not too sweet & delicious just like when I lived in Japan! I will definitely be coming back to try their food. Thank you for bringing a little piece of Japan to Fairbanks! … Mmm… the ramen & pork belly buns were so good thank you!

In an odd place for a restaurant, but once you get inside it is well maintained and nicely designed. Servers were nice, stayed out of the way. Food was excellent. We have been trying to expand our pallettes and were not let down by the Bao buns or the ramen!

It is “Oishi” indeed, I had the regular tonkotsu and my wife had the black garlic tonkotsu. Definitely coming back to try the other dish in the menu.
