The service was on point – with plenty of kindness and consideration. Unfortunately – the food left something to be desired. I genuinely don’t like saying this – as Sonic’s chicken strips are generally pretty good – but in this particular instance – the chicken was slightly less than fully cooked. No defamation expressed nor implied, as bad things occasionally happen (and by nature, I tend to attract a portion of the “bad” things — much like a mobile home park attracts tornadoes). Will I dine there again? Certainly.

This place no longer offers an OU discount, but when they did, the lady I always had at the drive through (in the lat evening) treated me like I was stealing something.. she always asked what department I worked in and gave me the 5th degree. The food’s on par with any other sonic, I always think of this place as the “rude” sonic and I prefer the one on Alameda and 24th.

I went to the sonic on se24th and Alameda, about 7:30pm, there was 2 rkirvehicles ahead of me, and 3 in line heading to the window, whenhe I finally got to the speaker there was no response, sowe l waiellted for someone to respond over the speaker, there was none, after all 4 vehicles had left l was still at the speaker, still nothing, l said hello several times, l know whoever had the headset on had to hear me, there was 3 other cars now behind me, l even saw the employee working the drive thru see me, so I drove up, and then they walked away, l tried to get the person wearing the headset waiving my hands at them and she finally came to the window and yelled at me that they were short handed, l replied you don’t have to yell at me, and she said you will just have to be patient we will be with you shortly, l spend 30 to 45 dollars a week there and tip the drive thru worker because they are not car hopping and lose the opportunity of getting tips, l went to the sonic on 12th and Lindsay and talked to the manager on duty there and they were shocked about it, l asked if they are the Same franchise, she replied no, l said great they will get all my business from now on, even though it is out of my Way, and tell all of the friends and family l know to avoid this establishment.

They are pretty timely with getting your order out to you, the only down fall is every time I go the mess something up it could be something as simple as fries instead of OR (onion rings) or left mustard on my Burger instead of using the condiment of choice provided. Unfortunately it’s even more of a Hassel to get your food corrected and it being warm isn’t expected anymore from I so I stopped going. Unfortunately sonic has lost my business due to me tired of having to go back to have things fixed or one of the hoppers attitude. I’d rather pay for my food and dump it in the dumpster than get treated poorly anymore. Not all of the car hops are like this. But at this one specific sonic it’s changed since hiring more of the younger children ( children with permits or there first job)
