My wife and I love Penn Station food! This location is one we’ve visited often in the past. The tea isn’t usually fresh but the food is delicious! The main issue my family has with this location is the limited seating. We have a large family and would love to take the whole group after the kids’ sports practice or other event, but there just isn’t room for a larger group. It’s very rare that my wife and I aren’t in the company of several family members, so we don’t get to visit often. However, we appreciate the yummy food when just the two of us can get away.

I haven’t eaten at any Penn Station in at least 7yrs so keep that in mind…. This location is one of the best ones I’ve been to though. Other than the employees looking like they’ve never seen a black person before and speaking really low, customer service was good. Restaurant was clean. Food was just ok but that is probably partly because my taste buds have changed. The fries were not done all the way with raw white areas showing and also crumpled up in the cup. Something was off about the bread too, it wasn’t raw but seemed like it could have been cooked longer or toasted or something. Maybe I ordered wrong and was supposed to request that. Cheesesteak was stingy on the meat but that was ok for me since this was a cheat meal. Cheese was mostly on one side of the sandwich, could have been distributed more evenly. All in all, my expectations were low but they exceeded them.

Do not order online carry out. Came in when I was told it would be ready. Gave them my name and my sandwich was ready, but not the fries (to be expected because they are cooked fresh), waited 15 minutes, during that time, saw fresh fries drop, and customers who came in after me served. Eventually, they asked if anyone had a mobile order, so I said my name again, as I was the only online order at this point. They acknowledged, but said nothing. I asked how much longer it would take, and they said it’ll be right out. They proceeded to give me the leftover old fries as they were making new ones, and a hot sandwich that had now been sitting for at least 15 minutes, with not even an acknowledgement or apology of the mistake they had made. Very disappointing service and quality of food.
