I ordered online off there website paid by card online came to pick up my order was told I didn’t pay for it when clearly I did considering my card charged and confirmation receipt with email and was told I wasn’t getting my food unless I paid and had my order reset ripped out my hand and told to leave I have called and reported this issue to the hillyard location and will no longer recommend or do business at this establishment ever again was hassled about my order and order code the moment I walked in and provided all information and even showed the waitress how there website works and everything I did and was still denied food I already purchased waiting for the owner of the north location to call me because this is not goi g to be swept under the rug

Don’t do it! The worst Chinese food I have had in awhile. Ground pork for your sweet and sour pork . Pork chow main was lots of crunchy noodles with very little veggies and it was all mostly celery. Almond chicken was hard small pieces not breaststroke like most places use. Save your money and go elsewhere!

I’m a door dash driver and picked up an order here and while I was there I glanced at the menu and was pleasantly surprised to find a wide array of vegan options. I’ve literally never had a Chinese food entree as a lifelong vegetarian because plant based options simply don’t exist so seeing an entire page dedicated to vegan full entrees made my day and I placed an order on my next day off. I was definitely turned off a bit by the high prices shown on the online menus so I was again pleasantly surprised when I placed my order and was told it would be less than 20$ for the sweet and sour tofu, spring rolls, and sesame buns. They said it would be ready in half an hour to 45 minutes so I took my time driving there but it was ready in less than 30 minutes. I was excited to dig into my plant based meal but when I got home I was disappointed that the sesame buns I’d really wanted to try were missing from my order. 🙁 I had specified on the phone that I wanted the sesame buns with the coconut sauce so I don’t understand why they missed that. I called them and they told me to come back in and get them. I ate my meal and it was delicious. I am so happy that I’ve found a Chinese restaurant that makes a wide selection of plant based food, something I’ve been waiting for for a long time. I was disappointed that they forgot my sesame buns and I don’t understand why they missed this on a slow Sunday night so there is definitely room for improvement in regards to customer service. It seems from the other reviews that this is a common mishap so it seems they really need to work on providing better service and listening better. I hope they do improve these things because the food was great and I will for sure be back. I would have given 3 stars but I’m just so stoked that FINALLY there’s a Chinese food restaurant that offers meat-free vegan and vegetarian options. It’s worth the visit, just be very clear about what you want.

This looks like a box that has been used and or pulled out of the garbage.

The food at Chan’s Red Dragon is pretty consistently good. The service has major problems. The server that helped us today seated us, took our order, served us and then let us know she had to take a delivery and would be back later. Real soon she said. My wife and I have plans at the comedy club later and we didn’t have an unlimited amount of time to wait. Another staff member showed up and refused to cash us out. I started figuring out the bill myself and was just going to leave cash on the table and our original server finally showed back up. She copped a major attitude with me about the whole situation. I work at a restaurant where we do delivery. No way in hell would we ever take a delivery order when there’s no one to deliver it and it would be absolutely absurd to expect a dine in customer to just sit and wait until their server gets back from taking a delivery.

We enjoyed the food but wouldn’t rave about it. Portions are very generous and service was adequate. It was a slow time with few customers, but the lone server seemed a little preoccupied with other areas of the restaurant. She was pleasant though, and our food arrived piping hot.

Great vegan options! Come here for lunch often for the pick 3 for about 9 dollars. Can’t beat that. The fried breaded tofu options are so good tastes very similar to the breaded meat options. The vegan broth soup is delicious Great prices as well. Service is sometimes slow but worth it.

The food has much to be desired. Its tooooo sweet amd sloppy with their sauces. It’s not an authentic flavor. You do get large portions, but it is a bit expensive.

Delicious, fast service, kind staff, and plenty of food. We got so much it ended up making two extra meals! Definitely a good spot for Chinese food.

Apon entering the first thing I noticed was the lovely decor. The music was 1960’s/1970’S rock(think David Bowie, The Beatles), and the restaurant had plenty of comfortable seating. The server was very friendly and helped me find plenty of Vegetarian friendly options on the menu. I ordered the Vegan Appetizer Plate with hot tea to start. All three items were delicious, as we’re the dipping sauces. For entrees, I ordered General’s Tofu and Grandma’s Tofu. Both came with rice and were excellent.
