My wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying our baby-moon dinner at Frevo. The seating around the kitchen created an inviting atmosphere where the chefs became performers. Each dish presented itself as a masterpiece, meticulously crafted with artistic flair. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was exceptional. It was a culinary experience that left us in awe, the perfect blend of intimacy, artistry, and romance. I can’t wait to return for another extraordinary evening.

Wow, what can I say? This place was amazing! Every detail and every bite hit the mark and was pure joy! The clever “speakeasy” style entrance from the art exhibit, the set up of bar seating to view the chefs making your meal, the comfortable bar stools – everything was wonderfully executed.

Celebrated my birthday there, and the place did not disappoint. From the moment we entered the space till the last sip of wine and conversation with the Chef, we were blown away. Food is creative, presented well, and is super tasty. It’s definitely worth the visit and the price tag (for a special occasion). Will be back and recommend it to others.

What an experience from start to finish! Just the concept of disguising a restaurant behind an art gallery merits 5 stars on its own. Service was impeccable. Food surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend getting the wine pairing as I found it to be educational and elevate the whole culinary experience (shoutout to the sommelier).

**I’m adding this to my review after reading the aggressive response left by the co-owner/ manager… I just have to say I’m appalled by his lying and by his overall reaction. I guess I touched a nerve… my apologies for calling out the truth** Where do I begin…the initial entry and view of the decor and open kitchen is smart and impressive but what can I say it went downhill from there unfortunately. I question their deserving of a Michelin star. Possibly and off day but each course was incredibly salty. To the point where the actual flavors of the ingredients were masked by the salt which was a shame because the presentation was beautifully thought out. Now… saltiness can be preference so my one star is not based on that. My one star comes because of health code issues. I observed from my seat the group of 6ish cooks using the same spoons to stir, taste, and serve dishes while repeatedly reusing after tossing into a stainless steel container or two placed on their cooks counters. Now…anyone who sees this can put together that this isn’t something allowed by any means when serving food to the public especially an open kitchen (what you don’t know may not hurt you). I have consulted with a few of my friends in the restaurant and food industry and this is not okay. Such a shame that a well thought out concept with courses that have such potential could not be appreciated by my party because of a simple use of a new spoon or a toothpick to taste wasn’t utilized by the team of cooks lead by an experienced chef. I am afraid to give them another chance simple because of the hygienic side of it all.

I thought the restaurant was a fancy place like a speakeasy bar, so I didn’t expect too much on their food. However, the overall food quality and experience was way above my expectations. It’s a French cuisine with Japanese influence. Interesting concept of every course but very good taste!
