I really enjoyed my tips and so did my daughter. I always drive through the area going home and always smelled barbecue. Because it always smell so good, I said I would stop one day to see if it tasted as good as it smells. It was great. The wait was a little long but that was fine because it’s wonderful to go in a business where the staff is so kind and friendly. Some places you go, the staff is rude and act like they don’t want to be there. But everyone was happy, great music playing, and food was well worth it. I will be a regular customer. Thanks guys for a great experience. Keep up the good work.

So I called to place my order I usually get the bucket of tips but this time I asked which is better bucket vs 2 large tip as far as quantity. They stated I would get more with the 2 large tips so I ordered the 2 tips, they said it would be 45 mins. I get to the restaurant and have to wait a hour and a half to get my order, only for my order to be made incorrectly. Had to wait another 10 mins for my order to be fixed. Even another customer noticed that I was in there a long time. They placed they order when I was coming to pick up my order, they left went for a drive somewhere far away and came back only for me to still be there. They Food ended up being ready at the same time but they left before me because of my order having to be fixed. They said themselves, she’s been here a long time and its crazy she still here, which was true especially when I called in my order. I get home and Lord have mercy if it didn’t look like I ordered a small tip with a large fry instead of a large tip. It was only about 8-9 tips in each box and the rest was fries. There is no way that the 2 large tips I received was more in quantity then the bucket I usually get. Fries with the tips was so greasy and it was not that much sauce on the BBQ. $35.97 & 2 hours later I lost my appetite and I’m very disappointed. I’m debating how I feel about going back. Charles and the other employee kept apologizing for the wait but so much was done with this order just an apology can’t fix it and a review was necessary to make sure they start doing better and not just apologizing. There is no way. I’m Beyond disappointed and if I go back I’m going to need better attention to details.

I agree 1000% with Shaywan F. The rib tips did not taste grilled or smoked. They tasted baked or boiled. I was very disappointed. It had so much sauce on the the tips that I couldn’t taste my fries. I think they added all of that sauce to cover the no taste. We will not be returning.

The chicken wings were good and well seasoned. But the tips were not good at all and didn’t have any flavor, they tasted like they were boiled or baked, definitely didn’t taste like they were cooked in a smoker or pit unless they were not fresh and were kept in the oven to stay warm. I won’t order from them again, too many better bbq places closer to me

Ordered the rib tips. Tender, juicy and fresh the way they should be. The sauce was very tasty too! Recommend that you call to order in advance, it was a 50 minute wait. But the food made it worth it.

So I’ll start out by saying that their staff is some of the best most polite people I’ve ever met. A long running family owned restaurant. Always kind-hearted, always speaking with positive intent and that’s probably the best part about woo woo’s BBQ. Second only to their food which they certainly make with care and love only serving carefully selected cuts under the watchful eye of the co-owners Charles and Joshua as well as they’re very helpful staff. It’s very evident they take pride in what they do as every order is made fresh and personalized to the liking of every customer. I will say they are busy almost every day all day so if you plan on ordering from woo woo’s know that it is not a fast food joint. Meats are grilled over a wood fire and prepared daily for our enjoyment complimented by time honored sauce making tradition. So calling in your order ahead of time is essential if you are on a tight schedule. Woo woo’s BBQ is the real deal if you’re looking for authentic barbecue made with care and special attention to every order. Thanks woo woo’s BBQ for bringing quality meals at a reasonable price to this little town just west of the Indiana/Illinois border.

Truly the best BBQ I’ve had in a very long time. They brought life to the Southeast Suburbs. I’ve been a long time customer of WooWoo’s for years. I was heartbroken when they were no longer in Lynwood. It’s great to see them back and in full form. If you’re lookin for A1 BBQ, friendly and family oriented customer service, then WooWoo’s BBQ is the best place to go if you are in the south suburban area. I don’t know who took those pics on Google but here are the real pics I have of some of the really good food that they make with pure love. Thank you guys and I will definitely be coming back.

The rib tip and wing combo were good and served fresh and portioned well. The chicken was great and with the rib tips, I had mostly tender pieces, only a few were a little tough. Customer service was excellent. Make sure you call ahead, as the wait can be long otherwise. I’ll definitely return again.

It doesn’t matter how long I wait to come into this restaurant, they NEVER have the order out ON TIME, it’s always “5 mins” when they tell you that, you may as well go right back to your car, cause it aint coming out for 30+ mins. They food may be good, but it’s not worth waiting over an hour for there’s plenty of good bbq spots that’ll get you your order ON TIME.
