Favorite restaurant in Austin, hands down. The atmosphere is delightful and the staff is so friendly. Everything we ate was somehow better than the next. The gnocchi was silky and pillowy, the peach salad was fresh and delicious and the lamb fettuccine special was out of the this world. The pasta was so fresh. And can’t forget the flourless chocolate cake. Speechless. Everything came out fast and piping hot.

Perfect neighborhood bistro! It’s just the right size with a delicious local and seasonal menu at approachable prices. I love taking my Dad here when he visits. Everything is super flavorful but also feels so nutritious. Service is great and food comes out fast and hot! It gets busy at peak times so go on off hours or make a reservation. Highly recommend the brisket ravioli and gala apple salad!

Got the mussels as my entree. Pretty good portion for the price. I would have given 5 stars if the waitress hadn’t forgotten one of our drinks!

Delightful neighborhood restaurant with a cozy vibe that you wouldn’t guess at from the strip mall exterior. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. But the key here is value for money – the hanger steak, seasoned with Mediterranean spices and grilled to perfection, cost far less than I have paid for far worse meals at fancier Austin restaurants. My wife had the freshly made pasta with ragu which was also very good. But star of the show was perhaps the mussels in a warming soffrito, tomato and white wine sauce. We will be making this one of our regular haunts for sure.

Hidden gem! The food was authentic, well portioned out, flavorful, and all dishes (if not mistaken) are homemade. The price for lunch was affordable considering the quality of the food was that of a $$$ restaurant. Our waiter was friendly, communicated well, and knew the menu. You know a restaurant is good when new customers coming in say, “they’ve heard great things about this place.”

What a charming little neighborhood spot! Love their eclectic, well prepared Mediterranean fare. We went in on a Monday night for an anniversary dinner, and my chef husband and I (yes, we’re picky about food) really enjoyed our meal. The mussels were so good, I’d love to see them as an entree offering. A large, well stocked bar, and their wine list was perfect for the menu. It’s really nice to discover such a pleasant restaurant a few minutes away from our Sunset Valley apartment. Well worth a visit!

This was hands down the best meal of my life. The lasagna was amazing. The drinks were superb. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The at.osphere is so peaceful. It is like you enter a completely different world when you walk through the doors.

So disappointed. We decided to have our anniversary meal here. They seemed to be very short staffed and if the server had kept us in the loop about expectations on time, we would certainly have understood. Instead, he decided to avoid us. Didn’t offer any more options after the main meal. I asked for the dessert menu and he never came back to ask if we were interested so we paid and left. What we did have was delicious, but the service was not welcoming at all.

Service was excellent. I love the homey feel of the dining room- the paintings, small black and white tv up above the bar, the a/c barely running so you really feeeel like your dining in Italy on a summer night. The mussels were okay, pretty good. I had the bistro… the Steak and veggies had that layer of burned oil…. you know like when you cook too many dishes on the grill without cleaning it, or reuse the same oil too many times. I would give this dish a 4/10 because of the charred burnt oil flavor. The steak itself was perfectly cooked texture wise and very moist. The potatos were okay. Id love believe this was a one off, and try a different dish from this place. I thought the prices were justified for the concept but expected a little more from the food itself.
