I’ve found my new favorite place for everything! Made it here for lunch and decided to sit in the bar. Warm, inviting interior and super comfortable. The bartender, Ryan, was beyond helpful suggesting the prime rib french dip, which I upgraded to get the truffle parmesan fries as a side. Incredibly delicious, juicy, and great portions! The service was impeccable and the hostess was super friendly and professional…they have a 7 day a week happy hour, which I’ll definitely be checking out soon! Best food I’ve had in the area thus far and well worth checking out!

Great atmosphere for a Sunday brunch. Stylish and sophisticated without being pretentious. The wait staff is top notch and the food is awesome! Great French toast with Nutella…mmm.

Our meal was excellent, as was the entire experience with the tiny knock that it was a bit loud in the dining room. Highly recommend the prime rib, shrimp and grits, duck pot stickers and Parker rolls. They were also kind enough to bring a special birthday dessert for the table. Definitely will be back!

801 Local did not disappoint! The pot sticker appetizer was delicious. I rarely order a burger at a really nice restaurant but I’m glad I did. It was out of this world and cooked with some pink in the middle. The place is beautiful inside and out. Give them a chance and ask for Jack. You’ll be glad you came and jack is funny and will take great care of you.

By far the loudest, noisiest restaurant I have ever been in. The food and drinks are very good but with our table of six conversations we’re impossible without shouting across the table. Too exhausting to have dessert, we just wanted to get out of there. Looking at the space, not sure if there is much they can do to mitigate the noise level.

The good is very good, perhaps not as solid as their two other St. Louis restaurants, but it’s a creative menu with decent variety. What really spoils the experience is the incredible amount of noise generated by diners with a need to quite literally yell at table mates. Too bad, I’d return for the good, but the atmosphere is horrific.
