Amazing experience! We came to the area in the late evening and all other restaurants were over an hour wait. This was a last resort but it should’ve been our first choice! We absolutely loved the food here and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend the brisket poutine. Some of the best barbeque I’ve ever had!

We loved our first visit to the lab! It’s super clear to see.. uhm taste .. why they are award winning! The Mac and cheese could use more jalapeño but the friend okra was amazing! Turkey wasn’t dry and they weren’t stingy on portions for the brisket either. Will be back.

We were able to make it to the BBQ Lab after an appointment in Raleigh. They close at 9 and we got there around 8. One of the staff members greeted us and recommended the pastrami ribs. Some menu items are only served on specific days. I took his suggestion. Never had pastrami ribs, but man, were they good and the brisket was very moist. The jalenpeno Mac and cheese didn’t have the kick I was expecting but was good. You could tell.we were towards the end of the night and getting to the end if the sides, but they were still good, just not as fresh. The cornbread was very good. It was a bit more pricey than I expected. Very glad I finally got to try it.

Great atmosphere and parking can be a little tricky. Ordered beef brisket that was around $15, a little expensive just for a sandwich in my opinion. Brisket was good but a little dry and bbq sauce had a little too much vinegar.

Tried this place based on the reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable the second you walk in. Food prep was slow but worth it because they put the sandwiches together in front of you. Nice touch. Very clean dining room and staff was walking around nonstop to make sure it stayed that way. I would recommend this place if you are in the area for sure.

A great addition to North Hills! Redneck BBQ lab will surely thrive! The food is excellent, with quality meats and BBQ sides that match up well. Visit for lunch or dinner and fill your belly with deliciousness! Lunch sandwiches are full of meat with high quality buns! All your American BBQ favorites in one rustic award winning spot! Oh my! The beef ribs are fabulous! The employees at the serving lines were very helpful! They know their business! The manager was such a friendly person. Came to the tables to check how we all do, even served a few orders at the tables! For sure we will be back next time we visit the area!

I’ve been here a few times. Who doesn’t love fried okra? Plus it’s al-a-carte. So if you just want 2 Louisiana style ribs or a whole slab. Brisket is melt in your mouth plus they have chopped pork OR chicken. The hush puppies is the old school toss the batter in the fryer and get whatever size that comes out. Jalapeño Mac-n-cheese is crispy on outside and gooey in middle. They are fast with chopping up the meat. Table side is various BBQ sauces to choose, roll of paper towels and sweet tea. Staff is friendly and helpful plus honest on what they love on the menu. I loved it and keep going back!

Camerons Culinarium
Finally, some decent bbq in Raleigh. The brisket was done pretty well, and seasoned nicely. They had burnt ends that were really well done, great flavor. I got the “jalapeño” Mac and cheese, and it was good but it was lacking and jalapeños. The seasoning on the fries was nice, and they give you a good amount. They had 6 really nice sauces too. I’ll definitely be back.
