**UPDATE: As time has passed, they are getting into the groove and over the craziness of being new. I always get a nice cashier whenever I go inside. Service time has been improved EXPONENTIALLY! Kudos to the management team who are always on the move to keep things in order. The progress has been seen and is appreciated!!!**

Ordered a biscuit/cheese/egg/bacon for my daughter. She ate the contents of the biscuit and stated the biscuit was dry and crumbling. Too much heat lamp time???? I ordered deluxe breakfast and did not receive the hash browns. I asked for chicken for an additional $0.80. The chicken patty was tough. Again too much heat lamp time??? I forgot to order coffee and returned to request a cup of coffee. The General Manager who was taking the orders was too busy instructing the grill person and finally wandered to the back door and returned. She looked right at me and continued at the hash brown fryer. The customer ahead of me was also waiting on someone to change the bacon for sausage as he had originally ordered. I finally raised my voice and requested a cup of coffee. The GM went muttering to the coffee pot about me being rude. Really?? All in front of other customers. I informed her she was the rude one and she retorted that she was not rude but accommodating. Of course she toured the dining room to ask if everyone was doing ok. This is my second less than desirable encounter in Phenix City. The first was the Hwy 80 location. I figured a new location had the potential of good food/ service. Same company. Same bad customer service and same less than desirable food. Don’t seem to experience these issues at Wendy’s. Especially not with a supposed GM!!! I won’t return to Jack’s in Phenix City Alabama.

Some of the lousiest service I’ve ever experienced in a fast food establishment, and believe me I don’t expect much. I went through the drive through, looked at the menu and attempted to order a 12 piece tenders, the price posted was 14.99. The employee quoted me at 24.99, I paused and politely mentioned that the price on the menu is 14.99 for the 12 piece. There was an awkward pause and she replied with “the price changed” changed? $10 seriously? So I left. Needless to say I’m not going back, which stinks because it’s conveniently located.

We originally visited this location the week they opened. Although it was busy and the staff was still learning, the experience was fine and the food was great! Burger, fries, and chicken were all cooked perfectly and we were extremely happy. Unfortunately we have visited this location 2 times since then and each visit has been worse and worse.

We love Jacks and unfortunately this Jacks is ridiculous. The first time we were there it was great. The second time not so good. Being in food management in the past, I wanted to give them another try, Sat in the drive through and watched 4 cars leave due to not getting orders taken. When I finally got up there, we waited, then I had to repeat my order three times. Got to the window and guess what… our order was wrong . Milkshake was about half full and melted. Food was good but service was lousy. Third strike, we are out. Total time in drive through was 23 mins. Hopefully this store will thrive as Phenix city needs the businesses. No sense of urgency and the lack of it cost this store within about a half an hours time , 5 vehicles worth of business including ours.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. I ate here when it initially opened and was impressed by the food. I see now that it was a fluke. I’ve been back 4 times now and each time is the SAME issue. 1: The wait time is entirely too long and orders are constantly wrong. For the time you have to wait you’d expect the order to at least be fresh and/or correct but nope. 2: After the first time eating here all food on every other visits has been horrible as if it’s old or overcooked. This place seems like it’s staffed by people who either don’t give a damn or have NO idea what they’re doing. I don’t see this location being open very long if they don’t get their act together. If I could give negative stars then I would.

We’ve been there about 2-3 times and those times we were disappointed with our chicken order. I can’t believe they would fry the chicken to where it looks over cooked and dry. Both times they were not a golden brown color but a dark brown color and when you try to eat it, its dry. I’ve tried other Jack’s and didn’t have any problems with their chicken. They were great. Even loved their tenders at the other Jack’s. Their cole slaw was nothing to rave about, too. Service was alittle slow. I ordered pies and was told it would take about 10-12 minutes and I finished my meal and went to inquire about it and the manager said they’re cooking it and said how long it would take. I told him I also waited that long the first time I was told how long it would take. My husband and I saw them handing out pies to customers who ordered after we did. The manager didn’t even bother to apologize after I told him what I saw. The young lady who took my order did apologize because she had forgotten that I was waiting on the pies. There may be young people working there but I’m glad the young lady apologized even if her manager didn’t because it showed me that she may not have been trained at work but maybe from home on how to treat people and own up to your mistakes. I appreciated her honesty and candor. She was very courteous and showed professionalism. I may or may not go back there to see if changes have been made to food and service. I do hope that changes are made because sometimes one or a few bad apples doesn’t always mean the same for others. I hope management and staff, especially management, can be retrained on how to be professional and courteous to people that walk through your doors. I don’t want anyone to lose their jobs and I believe in second chances to improve oneself.

I put in a mobile order for pick up. 20 minutes after given time I walk-in to the place and asked was there a hold up with my order. I was greeted with “we only have 1 cook, 1 on the register, one in drive thru, and just the manager ”. Didn’t ask for all that but I knew something stupid was coming. Then the lady preceded to tell me exactly what they had left to cook. This was at 12:30 pm on a Saturday. How? This place has major issues. Just by standing there trying to call corporate, from which the manager told me to knowing they only open Monday to Friday, a worker came in saying they have shorted her check for the last time. For this place to still be “new” it’s already on the avoid at all cost list. Very unprofessional. And still didn’t get my food and have to dispute the charge on my card.

It’s fairly good with a double drive thru. Currently only one lane is open. The last three times I’ve been there and ordered the deluxe breakfast they’ve not put the hash browns on the order. I’ve had to ask for them.
