Melting pot is a unique restaurant especially given the other restaurants in the Annapolis area. The food was really good, especially the fondue style of food. The only thing with this restaurant is that you should not expect to sit idle while your food is served, you will be the one doing most of the cooking at the table! You are served raw product and given instructions on how to properly cook it in the group ordered oil that is heated at the table. The food is still really delicious with the food being fresh and seasoned well. Only thing with Melting pot is that you should expect to be there a longtime, ours was a 3 and a half hour dining experience for our party of 6. Also, it is very pricey and truthfully is not really worth the price to go there more than once. It’s definitely worth going at least once for the experience but not a place we would go back regularly.

We visited Melting Pot to celebrate my birthday. The concept is interesting and the atmosphere is perfect. The servers were attentive and accommodating to all of my food allergies. My son enjoyed being able to “cook his own food”.

Was a great time for our date night with no kids!. Took about an hour and a half from start to finish. Which we loved since we were enjoying time out and away! Make sure to save room for dessert. Its the best part! It’s also super fun to cook your own food even as an adult lol.

I havent been here in about 20yrs. and man do the current prices reflect that! Very pricey for a modest family of four. Waiter was very friendly but not very attentive. Especially if you wanted me to give you 20% of my bill, which would have been a $50 tip. Food was good and fresh. Loved the pork, and I’m not a huge pork person. Salads a bit small. Overall, would recommend, if you have a couple hundred to drop on dinner.

I have been coming here (not always this exact location, but Melting Pot, in general) every year since 2011. We come every December to celebrate our anniversary. 10 years ago, we came to the Annapolis location and got curtain service with rose petals and champagne. They no longer do this, which I really wish they did. Also, I don’t like that they no longer do the Create Your Own, as I usually just stick with shrimp and ravioli. Their new menu kind of forces you to eat choices you’d otherwise not pick. Other than that, I absolutely love coming here… the staff is always wonderful and the noise level is never too high! We always enjoy ourselves when we’re here!

First time trying fondue. It was good but not worth the $$$. Walking into the restaurant is a little disorienting since you’re smelling the various broths other customers are using for their dinner. While it is definitely an experience, for $124 I don’t think we will be returning.
