I usually am not the type to leave negative reviews because I get that mistakes happen, but today I’m just too irritated to let it go. I’ve gone to Johnny’s 3 times in the last 3 months and had drastically different experiences each time. In April, I went for dine-in and had a lovely experience. I ordered 10 lemon pepper wings (all flats and was fine with the up-charge) and then I asked for a side of the wet lemon pepper sauce instead of ranch. Some places won’t do that, but I figured I would ask anyway. The waitress was lovely and even explained how she made it into a sauce. The second time, in May, was a pick up order for my family. On the phone we were told that they absolutely could not do all flats, that wasn’t possible. We even asked the girl on the phone to ask someone else (she had admitted this was her first week so she might not have known but we knew it was on the menu for an up-charge). She insisted that they absolutely could not do all flats and we just accepted that as such. I thought maybe policy had changed. Tonight, my family goes to eat at Johnny’s and planned to surprise me with wings because I was home sick. They ordered the wings and again saw that the menu said you could order all flats. So, they ordered all flats and paid for all flats… what arrived is clearly not all flats. If they hadn’t been charged the $4 for all flats, I probably would have just eaten them with no fuss. Oh, and if you are wondering about that container with the yellow substance… yeah that’s supposedly the “wet lemon pepper sauce”…. It’s just a container of butter. But they assured my family it was in fact lemon pepper sauce. All in all… I’m kinda just fed up with Johnny’s. When they get it right, they do a bang up job! I just haven’t gotten to experience Johnny’s getting it right lately.

Adrianne and Meghan were awesome and the food, a large meat deluxe pizza, was stellar! The place is clean and friendly, and this review would be five stars but the place was very warm. Clearly an issue with the A/C. I’ve been in here in the summer many times and it’s never been 80+ degrees in the dining room. I’ll update

We eat here at least once a week sometimes more. Today there was a older lady working preparing food . She had family come in which consisted of a man and woman and 2 kids the kids helped themselves to the kitchen. This is against so many rules!!! The lady went behind the counter and made herself a salad so no sanitary! I was very disappointed today with this and not sure I will be back!

I was eating tonight with my daughter when I looked to my left and I saw a cockroach crawling on the wall. My server Adrianna handled it very well, but that’s not the first time that I’ve seen a bug inside of this building in particular, will not be back, food is not worth it. Wait time is not worth it. Too hot and everytime I come the manager is nowhere to be found when needed, like tonight.

Worst pizza I have ever had and service was not much better. Tried to eat pizza but couldn’t. Odd taste and wasn’t cooked. A friend told me there was no good pizza in Carrollton and he wasn’t lying. Employees complained the entire time we were in there. Good luck with this one….

My husband and I decided to try this location for the first time the other day. I’m going to start off by saying the food tasted good but that’s is pretty much the only compliment I can give. We sat down the same time as this this family of 5 that walked in with us. They took our order first, just ordering two Stromboli’s. The family of 5 had their food served, ate, and left before we even got out food. Our waitress seemed to be one of the only two waitresses working that night so I understand things were a little hectic. We waited almost 2 hours before our food even came out. Once our meals finally got to us we asked for a to go box because we were just ready to leave at that point. I would say your best bet is to order online/2 go orders because they seemed to get those orders out a lot faster.

Warning on Tuesdays after 6pm due to trivia, call before you go, once full, 6:30-8:30 they’ll be no seat turnover. Don’t waste your time and gas to be turned away or to-go only. Had no idea this would be an issue on Tuesdays at 6:30pm, but learned the hard way……a lot of wasted time and money!
