Got a pizza to go on 4th of July….while it was good it wasn’t 5 star worthy. I will give them credit though, while all the other local pizza places in Chester were closed the evening of the 4th, Papa John’s was open. We ordered at the Papa John’s store and they were busy, but we only had to wait approx 20 minutes. While the staff were friendly, they did seem to be overwhelmed.

Whoever they have working as a “manager” needs to be fired. They didn’t deliver part of my order. I called and asked for it to either be delivered or refunded. He said he couldn’t do that. He offered to for me to call next time and ask for a free cookie. I never order from them, and now I never will again after this experience. I explained that I just wanted the money back for an item they didn’t deliver since I never order from them and if he couldn’t do that then to put me in touch with someone (corporate) who could. By the way they verified my item was still at the store on their shelf.

Oh boy….ordered online via the app and never got confirmation. However, saw that it came out of my bank paid. Store never got the order and when I called to figure what the issue was…..got to speak to Tyler, the manager. He didn’t know what to do and told me to call my bank. So I asked what the customer service number was for Papa johns and was told to google it since he didn’t know lol. I get that he didn’t know how to help but cmon dude at least get me a number to someone who can. I googled the number and had my refund instantly.

Well, I guess I got what I deserved! I read the bad reviews and ignored them. Boy oh boy that was my mistake. Pizza took 2 hours to get to my house!! It was frozen delivered pizza. The real kicker was they were so unapologetic and didn’t even care. And what’s up with that $2.50 delivery charge and then you still have to tip??? What’s up with that. The picture is of our TV room table all prepped and ready but no Pizza 🙁 🙁

Papa John’s is what it is. If you’ve had one you’ve had them all. What makes this franchise 5-stars is their customer service. The pizza the past 2 months from this location has been excellent, timely and what my husband and I think is the best Papa John’s pizza we’ve had in a long time. My husband noticed the manager is always working hard, keeping the busy store in order, making his own pizzas even, being super friendly and professional. Today we got a pizza and he was all smiles and thanked us and our pizza was excellent. We want to find out his name next time!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We ordered online, tried to call immediately after placing order to ask them to please include plates since this was lunch for our business office. 15 minutes on hold and no one ever came to the phone. Annoying, but not really a big deal. Our ordered was quoted to take 30-40 mins for delivery. It took them 1 hour and 15 minutes to deliver. Tried calling several times to find out what the hold up was and again, no one answered the phone. I spent 35 minutes on hold just trying to get ahold of this location. Finally, as I was about to drive to the location to get our money back in person- since no one answered the phone- the delivery man finally showed up with our pizza that was barely even warm, definitely not hot. Will not ever order from this location again. Dominoes is in the same delivering area, call them instead.
