I have been to McDonald’s restaurants in almost a dozen other countries and at least 2 dozen other states. This one is by far the worst. Your order will be wrong, cold, burned, or raw more often than it is right and/or hot and if you try to get it fixed, the employees will get an attitude about it. There are ridiculously long waits constantly, they claim the ice cream machine is down all the time, even though you can clearly see them give ice cream to cars in front of you. The only reason this place remains in business is because it is using the McDonald’s brand. Any other restaurant with this poor service would not survive, even in a small town like Homer. I strongly urge anyone to pass this restaurant by and go to any other place, even if that means driving the 20 minutes to Minden for their McDonald’s.

The wait is usually longer than at other McDonald’s regardless of the number of cars in line at Drive-Thru. Also, they seem to run out of key items often (tea, quarter pounder patties) and something minor is usually wrong with my order (whip cream when asked for no whip cream, pickle includedvi when we ask for no pickles, etc)
