We stopped in during their soft opening today and were pleasantly surprised. They had many choices for the toppings and we loved the flat rate pricing rather than being charged for every little thing we wanted on the pizza. Staff were all pleasant and accommodating even during a fairly busy lunch hour. Definitely flavorful and served hot out of the oven. An overall pleasant experience!

This pizza exceeded my expectations. I ordered through the app and it was ready on time as ordered. I tried one with the marinara sauce and the other with seafood sauce. The crust is thin but crispy with flavor. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Both sauces were delicious but the marinara sauce was a little sweeter than I am used to, still good just different. Overall, exceptional pizza and the best we have in the Waldorf area.

I tried burnbox shortly after they opened and they ran out of ingredients(which they did comp me a free pizza for the inconvenience. I appreciated that) so I figured I’d yru again but order ahead of time. Around 11am I placed my order for 4:30pm pick up. I arrived to the store at 4:20 and asked if my order was ready..they said no. No problem. So I waited. At 4:35 I asked if there was any update..she said one pizza was ready. We took it. That was the pepperoni with hot honey. It did taste very good!! By 4:45 I started to get impatient as my second pizza was not ready. I asked and she said they had to remake mine cause the shape was off. At this point I had watched SEVERAL walk ins order their pizzas receive them and leave before I had mine. When I finally got mine it was mixed up with another customers so it wasn’t exactly what I ordered. All that to say I recommend just walking in to place your order. The restaurant is clean, the pepperoni pizza was yummy and the staff was nice! All the walk-in pizza i saw being made looked yummy and were made quickly!

My husband loves brick oven pizza. We have tried many and Burnbox is in the top 5 now. We went on the soft opening, and they didn’t disappoint. You gotta check out this pizza spot! It’s yummy! The choice of crust, sauce, and toppings were excellent. I had the traditional crust, and my husband got the cauliflower crust. Both were great and cooked to perfection. We will be back! They have an App, so you can order in advance and get rewards! Have a feeling that the line will be out the door once everyone knows they are open. I’m big on customer service, and their staff was friendly and helpful to the newbies. Our pizza looked so good that we ate a slice before I could get a picture. Run, don’t walk to get your pizza. Be patient with them, as they will continue to add to the menu during this soft launch.

The service was EXTREMELY slow. The process was not streamlined, the app was available, but I couldn’t redeem the free pizza…the menu in store doesn’t list the topping options so trying to choose a pizza was hard to do, it felt like I was bothering the employee by asking. They didn’t have wings available…. Why open with a full menu displayed and not have the options? If you were doing a soft opening , limit the menu instead of surprising me when I arrive. The person at the cash register stood there and looked at me until I asked him to check me out. Waited 40 min for 3 basic pizzas. Please get it together. I’ll be back to update this once I actually taste the food.

We’ve really enjoyed BurnBox since they opened in the area. We typically make our own pizzas, and haven’t been disappointed yet! The cauliflower crust is pretty good too! The wings (buffalo) were pretty tasty, and a good size as well. Thus far, the customer service has been amazing and the restaurant is always clean and not typically crowded. Price-wise, we think you get what you pay for, considering the size of the pizza and ability to customize it, but of course, is not truly comparable to the other chain pizza places.

I want to start off by saying the pizza is delicious. However, to be a new business and not having items on the menu doesn’t make sense to me. Something as simple as honey that could have been ordered from a local grocery store. Or not having lettuce for the salads. Also their were 5 people working and the trash can was so full that their were pizza boxes on top of it. These young people were standing around talking, and one of them could have taken the trash out. When serving the pizza, there should be plates given with pizza or at least have them out where the silverware and paper towels are if everything is self- serving. This is some constructive criticism from another business owner to another.

Great customizable pizza. Pizza was great and they had a lot of different options to add to your pizza. Once they improve their process of serving, they definitely be the pizza spot to eat in Waldorf.

Our favorite pizza place (Napoli’s) was closed today so we decided to try BurnBox. The female cashier that took our order didn’t smile, not once. The male that took my credit card at the register was a little bit more friendly. But I was disappointed when the credit card reader asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I’ve noticed some other local restaurants have been doing the same and I think it’s a bad business move for fast food and not actually being “waited on,” because it puts undue pressure on the customer. Sure, I could decline… but is that going to affect the quality of my food or service? As a customer, I shouldn’t have to worry about that. With that said, I left a 10% tip. The male cashier seemed to change his demeanor after that. As if it wasn’t good enough. He didn’t thank me or say anything else. And let’s be honest, this is a “fast food” spot… but there was nothing fast about it. We came in around lunch time on a Sunday when there were only two other customers in there and we waited about 10-15 minutes for 2 pizzas and a thing of wings. The last male I interacted with handed me our food. Again, he wasn’t rude but was lacking very basic customer service skills like saying “thank you,” “have a nice day,” or “take care.” When we tried the pizzas, we were very disappointed. They just weren’t good. The crust was too chewy and the cheese had a weird texture, like it wasn’t melted all the way. Never again.
