One of the first places I visited when we moved to Norwalk. In fact, this is where we celebrated the closing of our new home. The dishes here are absolutely amazing! Every meal from appetizers to dessert will feed your soul. When I want to indulge this is where I go.

We were so excited to finally give Washington prime a try after seeing all the great reviews. We were saddened to find out since the pandemic they no longer do happy hour, which we were looking forward to. The atmosphere was nice and for apps we absolutely loved the steak tartare- it was the best we’ve ever had. For dinner we ordered the porter house for 2 and honestly we were pretty let down. It was really nothing special and certainly over priced. You can get an amazing one down the road at Match for $30 cheaper, and 20 oz more (plus it will come with 2 generous sides!). We left hungry on a nearly $200 bill (and didn’t even have drinks!) I don’t see us going back anytime soon but if we do it would be just for some apps or something more low key.

We had beef tartare, calamari, and the most expensive steak for two. The tartare was amazing, my wife can’t stop talking about it. The calamari was great as well, very good. But the steak we ordered medium rare and with the bone marrow. There wasn’t even a teaspoon of bone marrow and the steak was medium well, not medium rare. I’m still going back, I just won’t order the steak. I was hoping it would have been as good as the other stuff or better for $140. But, by the quality of the other food, I bet it was a rare mistake. Kind staff too!

Definitely worth the price. Gluten-free options are also available. We had two appetizers (Chilean sea bass skewers and calamari), ahi-tuna steak, NY Strip steak, and dessert (creme-brulee & choc cake)- everything was amazing.

Absolutely amazing. Great bar and atmosphere overall. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. We had the 55oz. Tomahawk medium-rare with bone marrow. I’m pretty sure I’ll be putting bone marrow on all my steaks when I can from now on. Steak was perfect.

The rudest host I have ever met. We came in at 5 pm on a Saturday to an empty house. We did not have a reservation…our fault as first time patrons. We were seated by the kitchen, so close we could cook the food with the chefs. We asked for a better table …anything not directly by the kitchen. We were told no because of reservations. Perplexed by the entire restaurant being open we walked out. We made a comment about not understanding why we couldn’t have a better table when there were so many open and we were told “next time be big boys and make a reservation”. While I completely understand we were at fault for not making a reservation, since we didn’t know the restaurant and being a first time patron, I’m completely baffled by why someone would be so rude with a snarky comment. What happened to the customer is right and being accommodating to garner new business? I’m sure they will care less from my comment and the loss of our business won’t matter to them but nonetheless being nice goes a long way. Best of luck!

Every one in our group had a great meal and experience. Their steaks are top notch and I would put them up against any of the big name steakhouses in NYC. I loved their extra thick cut bacon. It was extremely tasty. You can’t go wrong with anything at this place. Their staff are very courteous and attentive. Here are a few pics of our dinner.
